Fashion trends. We can't really avoid them-but we can choose whether or not to follow them.
In the Uk at the moment there's a huge love of bodycon dresses and blazers going around, as well as a taste for vintage clothing. I'm liking the way it's all going, actually, because vintage is one of my favourite styles and there's a lot of floral print in the shops right now. <3
I've invested in a floral print bodycon dress as well-surprisingly it suits me so it would seem that I've become some sort of slave to the fashion industry-whilst putting my own unique slant on things, obviously.
Here, have a photo of the dress =)

My questions~
What do you think of trends, overall?
What's fashionable where you live right now?
Got any trends that really annoy you?
And if you've got any pix of your best/worst trends feel free to share! =)

Your first taste of something is with your eye.

So, next time you drink tea, you should pour it into your eye ;)

If I like a trend or not, it probably does not matter because I go with my own style regardless. I do not know anything about the current fashion trend where I live now and it does not really appear to be one. There are not any trends that annoy me. Everyone is free to express themselves and represent themselves the way they want. I really would only have a problem with a trend, if it is something representing something negative.

I also love vintage clothing, which is what has been springing up around here. I've been buying a lot of clothes because it's so surprising to see all these things I like in normal stores.

I've never been afraid of the wildest fights, not afraid of dying
But now I want off this ride 'cause you're scaring me and I don't like where we're going

I love that dress. And I love fashion.
I used to want to be a fashion designer, still do actually.
And I make a lot of my own clothes.

I have a fashion/polyvore tumblr to share stuff that I like.
And yeah, it's fun. I like fashion. ^^

Trends are interesting. Sometimes they make no sense at all like Uggs paired with short shorts or some look nice like layering. I think it really depends on the person. I personally wear whatever looks good on me and makes me like presentable. So I kinda design my own style, I suppose.

Which way do you go? You go that way. O u O

I barely keep up with them. I find 90% of them ridiculous anyway from those harem pants to ugg boots. dead
I'm too practical of a person when it comes to clothing.

I don't really like to follow trends.
I like what I like and that's it.
Like right now, I really like cardigans and plaid shirts.
XD

Unless it's at work I always wear jeans and a tank top. Always. And I consider myself always in fashion too, lol. XD Since when has jeans and a tank top not been fashionable since they've been out?!

Words exist because of meaning. Once you've gotten the meaning, you can forget the words. Where can I find a man who has forgotten words so I can talk with him? ~Chuang Tzu

i like the new trend now honestly.

Agreeing with all of you guys, actually =P
I especially agree about Ugg boots and Harem pants being ridiculous XD
Lovin' the trend of vintage right now though just because it's what I like to wear so it makes a change to see clothing that suits my style in the shops.
I'd like to second what Jester said =D

And @HelloVitu~ <3 I love the print of the material. Not enough people make their own clothes! It's surprising because when you wear home made things people always want to know where they're from XD
Oh I have a Polyvore also-even if I'm not very good at using it xP

Always Accepting Friend Requests

Well for one, that dress is adorable!
And secondly, I think of myself as more of a winter/fall clothing person. The long sleeves, puffy scarfs, and boots are some of my favorite clothes.
Though in the spring and summer I like the vintage look a lot. Classy and stylish at the same time.

Searching for 1 Aquarius Kingdom! 7k?
I like some 60s and 70s stuff. I don't like most of the 80s stuff that's in now. I went to the mall a week or two ago and there were a couple of stores that had almost nothing but really 80s looking stuff, and I hated it! I never see people walking around wearing that kind of stuff here though...

In the winter I usually wear corduroy pants and sweaters. In the summer I usually wear sandals and long cotton dresses kind of like this: http://www.target.com/p/Mossimo-Womens-Kimono-Sleeve-Maxi-Dress-Assorted-Colors/-/A-13447050

That dress is ADORABLE.

I can say that, over the past two years, I've really found my own style instead of just going for the usual jeans and a hoodie (basically my high-school uniform). I don't follow trends but I'm delighted when I find something that matches my personal style but also passes for fashion.

The sad thing is in my city, huuuge grey sweatpants over Adidas slip on sandals and socks is the basic outift of almost everybody under the age of 30, it seems. I can't wait to get out of this town.

I am not very good at using Polyvore either, but I still have fun with it. =P
I think I have a few good sets though if you wanna look at em... - CLICK!

I used to get that all the time in high school.
I really loved this one shirt I made, and people would always ask where I got it.
And a few even asked me to make them ones like it, and paid me for it.
So it was pretty damn cool.
