@C i e l- THAT. Exactly that! They have no point and are pretty uncomfortable as well >_< Lolita clothing is so pretty =) I've always thought it'd be difficult to wear though.

@Eloquentx- Makes sense. Better than the 'shorts and boots for winter!' trend that we've had to put up with here!
Lol! Does that include things like the Herve Leger dresses and bodycon stuff? I think that's pretty nice as long as it's not too short... The whole 'vests as dresses' thing though... Don't like that. People have their butts hanging out because their tops aren't long enough >_<

Your first taste of something is with your eye.

So, next time you drink tea, you should pour it into your eye ;)

I never really pay attention to current fashion trends...I do not see the point really. Is it to fit in with the crowd? -shrugs- If so, I still would not pay attention seeing as I do not care about fitting in.

I believe skinny jeans were the only current trend I got into since I thought they were pretty rad...but now I do not care for them anymore. They are quite uncomfortable actually when sitting for long periods of time.

I like hippie-ish fashion. The same with gypsy fashion and some beatnik stuff as well as some 80's stuff.

I just like what I like. : P

I think sometimes following fashion trends is just because you like them, rather than because you want to fit in. I think you're right though.

Skinny jeans are never going to be out of fashion XD I think straight legged jeans are better though-they're more comfortable and more slimming. Plus they don't pinch at the back of you knees!

Good mind-set to have on fashion though =) I know very little about beatnik stuff O.O

I'm never up to date with fashion trends. Although I've apparently have worn a few things that are 'in'. But I don't really realize it, mostly because I'd been wearing it already for a while to begin with. o.O;;

So, I find I'm very much out of the loop and as someone said earlier, 'I like what I like' and I leave it at that. About the closest I get to following fashion would be looking at celebrity formal wear at various awards shows. That's about it really.

Following fashion is a difficult thing to do. Mainly because the things people actually wear usually differ considerably from what's actually fashionable-and really if what you're wearing is what you like then you can't go wrong. =P
Nice answer ^_^

What do you think of trends, overall? i don't actively follow them
i think it's silly to complain about people who follow trends or call them "sheep" or "slaves" just because they like something that's going through an "in" phase
What's fashionable where you live right now? nothing much but your usual high school """hipster""" attire + uggs. UGH
Got any trends that really annoy you? hipster/""""""boho"""""" clothes
they're just ...ugly and not even original

What do you think of trends, overall?
They always make a comeback somehow, though I never follow them.
I wear whatever I want, no matter what is fashionable.

What's fashionable where you live right now?
I don't usually pay attention to the fashions where I live,
but I've seen school logos around a lot.

Got any trends that really annoy you?
I'm not sure if it's a trend but socks with sandals annoy me. (>_<)

널 원하는 내 맘 모두 다 가져가줘.

君は僕の太陽さ。
@venomothballs- Fair enough. =) Although I generally use the word 'slave' to refer to somebody who follows fashion trends very closely and swears by them. It's a little different if you're only following it because it's something you would've worn anyway.
Oh my god the hipster clothing XD It's all that anyone is wearing at the moment. I don't even understand how to be properly hipster. O.O

@Keiiri- I like that they always make a comeback =) I mean I don't follow fashion all that much, I'm more just interested out of curiosity, but people who do follow trends closely would be glad of it because it means they don't have to throw things out once they're out of style.
What's really weird is that I've seen people around wearing school logos, too O.O But not even for the school they go to. For all of these American schools. It's a bit odd.
Oh my god that. XD I don't think it's a trend and tbh I don't think it ever will be but the amount of people who do it XD It's not even just because it's not fashionable, it's also because if you're sandals, it must be hot, so what the hell are the socks for? XD

*doodles*

I work in the fashion design field (assistant designer) so I have no choice but to be aware of the fashion trends. Most of my target are average consumers who shop in Walmart. However, since the company is fortunate to be doing better financially, we are going to target towards the higher end customers and see where that lead us.

It's just funny because although everyone is on the craze for flowers and vintage clothing....for me by now, it's "the been there, done that" but it's no one's fault. It's just that in the fashion industry, you are always one season, one year ahead.

At this point. I've just ended the 2012 fall season and am starting to do the research for spring 2013...

As for current trends. Do I follow them? yes, to a certain point. However, I always know what I look good in, and what colors suit me. I won't buy the hottest "trend" if I am not suited for it. I rather take up a trend and make it my own...

If you think about it, that's what designers do. They see how we adapt to the trend....

I just want to post the fact that I despise jeggings or however you spell it. That is all. -_-

I don't really follow trends I just chuck on some jeans and whatever t-shirt (usually a band shirt XD).

Also is it just me or is there a lot more baggy sort of things about then there used to be? I've seen a fair few people wearing ponchos or low cut baggy shirts and stuff.

I like trends at times, but sometimes I do find it can get really silly with people beginning to look like clones. I don't like sticking to or following them myself, but sometimes I might take a fancy to them.

According to my schools own clothes day, it tended to be Vans, leather jackets and print leggings that were fashionable.

The trends that annoy me, just have to be those harem pants with that 'hanging crotch' design or cut (picture below). I don't know what it is, maybe because it seems like such a waste of material.

i dont usually follow fashion

I don't follow the trends much. Yes, I buy new clothes, but I've always been one to wear what I want. I don't wear things just because they're cool, but I pick out what I like
