Ernya has said before that there are going to be 42 colours (I believe) which means that at the rate they are being released, all spells will be released in 38 months from now. So if they will cycle, it won't be for a long time. (I'm assuming you mean black being sold in another month and so on)

I don't think spells are going to cycle, unfortunately. That would ruin the prices they are at now, and the people who donated to get them a year ago would be SOL.
I never thought of that :o Maybe we'll get new colours in the 38 month's time, so I'm guessing we'll never run out?

- Well, there is actually /no/ answer to this, though, there is a possibility they will cycle otherwise the spells will become basically unreachable in the long run (if we're looking into that far into the future - considering this site will grow); but there is the possibility it will not, but there is no, as of now, legit answer.

Nope, I don't think so. Spells are like another donation item. Hope they will not be released into the market again. If this dose happen like smacking the people in face who donated or quested for those items. D: And the value of those spells will drop making people very unhappy. Like Meli said Guess we have to wait and see what Ernya says.

This is 4 years from now, who knows what can happen and how many active members we will have by then.
This will all depend on how many spells will circulate around, and how many people owning the spells will quit. The spells are quite different from the DIs, as the reasoning (you can only equip one at a time) is the same, but you can only equip so many poses in a donation item. For the spells you can equip 50 at a time if you wish to, which take so many spells out of circulation as someone would need that many in their inventory.
We have absolutely no clue how bad this will be in 4 years, as how many spells available vs how many active people, and we cannot predict how huge the price will be for one single spell.
I cannot give a definitive answer for the moment, 4 years it too far ahead and I don't have any statistic to base it on. However the members will be consulted before taking any definitive decision.

couldn't another option be making it so you need only one spell for all of your items.
im not saying doing this right now. maybe a year or four down the rode.
because if you only needed one spell for all the items the people that have ten or more spells like me will have no need for them and most likely be willing to sell to sell the extras.

then i think the best option is to cycle them then. I am pretty sure the majority will agree with it in the next 2 years. noteing that the black spell sells for like 10k or so right now i would hate to see the price of them in 4 years.

Well anyway, if this was going to happen, the members would get warned at least 6 months before.
So people questing for the spells, would just wait and not spend a considerable amount of money, and resellers/exchangers/sellers would just hold onto them, so they wouldn't lose that much of a profit.
I see it more as a restocking than anything else.
However this is just an opinion, and this does not mean that they will cycle.
As I said, I don't have any answer just yet.
