For the sake of my argument on whether cheating is amoral, I will establish that cheating is having sex outside of a monogamous relationship.
Honesty is a universal moral code. In some way or form every culture upholds honesty. Why not? Our ancestors needed to have faith that someone was telling the truth. If you can’t believe someone, then you can’t trust her when the time comes to receive important information from her. Boy who cried wolf, anyone?
That being said, cheating is amoral since it breaks the code of honesty and the trust of the relationship. When entering into a monogamous relationship, the two involved commit to one another. Breaking that commitment, that trust, is what I find wrong. To break the honesty code in such a way is inappropriate.

I think its wrong, and personally if I ever found out someone was cheating on me then that would be the end of the relationship. The trust is broken and I'm not one for second chances lol.
My personal, most desired trait in another person is loyalty, and for someone to cheat that just goes against everything I'm looking for. :(

I consider it bad because someone should be committed to one single person
