The first game I played (that I owned) was Yellow.
Obviously, I started with Pikachu, but if I had to pick, I'd have taken Squirtle.

I've never used an Action Replay.
The first card I ever got was a Vulpix. I didn't even know what Pokemon were back then, lol!
My favorite episode was the Princess festival one, when Misty and Jessie battled and Psyduck saved the day.

If I could change one thing from the games...
I'd take the secret bases from R/S/E, the pokemon following you and the Pokeathlon in HG/SS,
and the underground, contests, Poffins from D/P/Pl and roll them all into one!

Tie between Nidoking and Scyther.
Nidoking was the best pokemon in my team when I played pokemon for the first time. ((: I named him after the wrestler, "Big Bossman" rofl

My first lv. 100 was MewTwo in Leaf Green. I bought a used Fire Read from Gamestop, and he was on it, at lv. 70 (the level you catch him at in Cerulean Cave). My second lv. 100, and the one I'm most proud of, is Pidgeot. I needed one to use fly, so I found one at lv. 32 with the intention of using him then releasing him, but obviously that didn't happen ;) I fell in love. And years later, he's now on my Pokemon Black game. That Pokemon has been on Leaf Green, XD Gale of Darkness, Battle Revolution, Diamond, Soul Silver, and Black so far. I've told myself that if anything ever happens to the game he's on, I'll stop playing Pokemon for good.

My favorite episode is when Ash, Brock and Misty visit Lara Laramie's farm and compete in the race. Her ponyta evolves, and Ash talks like a hick. "Aw shucks', Rapidash!"
My favorite movie is Jirachi Wishmaker, but Destiny Deoxys is a close second.
My favorite character is Steven Stone from R/S/E, because I'm totally in love with him xD When he made a cameo appearance in HG/SS, I squealed.
If I could change something about the Pokemon games, I would remind Nintendo that the vast majority of their buyers are 14-20. Meaning, "Seriously, Game Freak, we can handle a real plot."
I'd like to be able to customize my trainer, and make it more of an RPG. Some people want Pokemon for power, some people actually love them.
I'd like to have to make decisions that effect later events, and have the option to join Team Rocket, either as an actual member, or as an undercover agent to disband them.

Yes, Gary is an awesome character, though I like him better as Blue in Soul Silver (Although if they'd stuck with the manga, he's actually Green), when he's waiting on Cinnabar Island.
I'm starting on the reverse side, with the newest game (Black) being my first actual pokemon game (although I'm slowly acquiring all of the older ones.) So, naturally, my first favourites come from the latest gen.
