View topic - Tucking in shirts and pants

I've been wondering for some time now if it would be possible to make it so that pants could layer over or under shirts if chosen and shoes could layer over or under pants? The default layering sometimes makes for odd images, like shoes sticking out from behind pants and suspenders or belts hanging over shirts when they should be attached to pants.
I will understand if this cannot be done for whatever reason, but I appreciate any consideration or acknowledgement of this post.

it sounds like it would be a lot of work...i dont know i guess it would depend on how many people want it.

Well, I know a lot of items have had other layering options added already (and fairly quickly), but there are a lot of pants and shoes out there and I don't know exactly how doable this is either way, so it would be understandable...

I think it's pretty easily doable, they'd just have to make another pose for pants and shoes to layer over or under. It'll only take some time to do with all the items we have, and I believe Emy's pretty busy at the moment, but I definitely think it's a good option to consider. ouo

I'd love this, especially since some poses of boots stick out of pants in a nonsensical way. Like if you wear the male pose of the gunner boots, the top fringe of the boots show up outside of any pants you're wearing, which looks kind of silly.

Whenever you feel small, remember this: you were created in the core of a massive star.

Drew and I have been together for over a year now~
I would honestly love this.
It would make for layering some items soo much easier.

There are some items I feel like I can't really use because things layer so weirdly that it just doesn't work.. :s

There are many layers and many shirts and pants in the system so such thing would be really difficult.
This would be possible however for say maybe one or two shirts to be specifically made to layer under the pants.

In that case, I think it would be most useful for dress shirts like the Ruth and Pradia blouses, as those would normally be tucked in anyway.

If the same goes for shoes, it would be especially helpful in the case of shoes with bulkier parts that would stick out from behind pants, such as the Leather X boots or Fashionista Disaster (these seem to layer over pants on the pose with heels, but behind them on the pose without, leaving the fur ruff sticking out in that pose).
