View topic - Tiny spelling niggle

The defrost instead of defrosted gets me everytime rofl. but that's because i'm in a job where i have to be a spelling nazi or it's unprofessional. it also had me questioning whether it was okay to say defrost instead of defrosted lol. i don't suppose it would be too much to change?

I honestly thought it was intentional.
I figured it was a silly spoof of the meme that says "Son, I am disappoint."

i wasn't bugged by it...i kept having to second glance at it a bunch to make sure i was reading it right...cause i was all like "what?"

but now everytime i see it it makes me think of a coda...or like a root beer float

i want ice cream now

2NE1 ROCKS!!!!
Er...

Well "You have been defrost." annoyed me at first too. Now I find it full of lulls.
I just wish the statement ended with "!" It seems like it does now(? or I didn't see it before somehow)
XD

The only typo that ever bothered me was Corea during the Back to School event. X'D
<U < Otherwise, there are other typos as well and I do actually think they're cute.
It makes the site feel like it's staffed by humans and not robots named Fred, imho.

I've always gotten the impression that Mama Ernya and Prezrok were foreign
and and and
if that's really the case I've never asked or was told then these types of typos
and grammatical errors are to be expected and sometimes unavoidable
as the english language is ridiculously hard to learn. p:

<n < Just thought I'd toss in my two cents.

"Corea" is actually correct, too. Some countries use Corea, other countries use Korea. It's like "color" and "colour". Two different spellings, both correct.

And I know that Emy speaks French, so maybe she's from France or Canada?

I'm pretty sure she used to live in France?

I don't really mind spelling mistakes/grammar issues. :U As long as I can read it and understand, it's all good.

Hate is easy; Love takes courage.

It is the unknown we fear when we look upon death and darkness, nothing more.
The "Although..." phrase didn't bug me
"you've been defrost" and "a short inch" do bother me xD

An inch is a defined length
It should say either "You missed her by an inch" or "you missed her by a little bit", or "You just missed her"

But it's temporary, so meh

"A short inch" to me sounds like an archaic turn of phrase, such as a "long yard", denoting struggle/humanizing the experience of length particularly in a stressful situation where distance is incredibly important. It doesn't really bother me at all, in context.
