Alyinne
Tiania

Everything was dark and there was a numbing feeling to the atmosphere. This was the kind of peaceful sleep she had hoped for. Then she blinked as the scene changed to one of the parties she so regularly attended back in Luthuan. She was always one of the best dressed and she held her head high. But she was bored. The parties were just meaningless chatter. Her mother always made her go with her and there was always people trying to talk to her or offer her a drink.

Don't you just love being an attention magnet? a familiar voice said and Aly whipped around. "No, I drank before I slept. You shouldn't be able to access my dreams." Aly said wanting to back away but staying put. The other part of her laughed, it was cold and without humor. You can't hide Aly, especially since you just felt the urge to hurt and destroy so recently. Just accep- "No!" Aly said and then she burst awake. Her legs were tangled in the sheets and a sheen of sweat was on her forehead. She took a deep breath and opened her eyes again. She realized she was on her bed. But she was sure she had fell asleep at the table. pulling off the sheets she swung her legs over and walked back to the table. The sun was setting and there was a note tucked under the small candle stand.

She lit it. And she proceeded to read the note to her from Shad. "Men." she said sighing and folding the letter before tucking it back where she found it. "They don't know what they want."then Aly felt a feeling of sadness wash over her. Shad had become a friend, a companion and now his departure left her feeling a bit alone and cold. Did she scare him away? She sighed once again before getting up and walking to the window. "What about our flight race?" she said softly. Then her head was more clearer and she realized there must of been something that the colorful eld woman had done to make Shad leave. Her lips pursed in a tight line and she stared at the setting sun wondering if she should go confront her.

Shad Tenish
On the road to nowhere

Shad had flown in the same direction for what seemed like mere minutes, but he saw the moon was rising and the stars were starting to show brightly, he looked down, seeing the once green forests and fields now a dark blue. The light of the moon was all he had for companionship as he slowly landed in the middle of a ring of trees, a part of a massive forest across the landscape. Untouched by man, elf or any other race by the looks of it, only the small animals who called it their home. All he could hear were crickets chirping in the night, the wind blowing the dried leaves around his feet across the grass. The silence soothed him almost as he closed his eyes, it was almost like being back home again, this would be the place he paid his tribute. No one was around for miles to hear or see it, but he didn't care, he had faith it would be passed on to those who needed to know of it as he looked for the perfect spot. He found a small puddle underneath an oak tree, every tree was as tall as a building from Tiania, it was truly a beautiful place. He dug through the dirt and made a small mound in the very middle above the water, making a gap within the mound and shaking the water from his hands, he reached into a belt pouch.

He pulled out a small seed and planted it in the mound, packing the dirt down tightly and brushing away any access, he then reached into another pouch and grabbed a small vile. The vile contained tiny fragments of the very crystals from the Nephirum lakes, he carried it with him mostly for memory, but their power would assist him greatly right now. He poured out a small handful and spread it evenly around in the water, the magic began to take effect immediately, the water grew brighter, more clean and the same color as Nephirum's waters in the moonlight. This would provide better nourishment for the seed as he stood before the puddle, making sure the light was perfect, he removed his cloak and it changed within his hands, a crimson flute had taken shape. He played a few notes to see if it sounded to his liking, taking a deep breath and concentrating, he began to play, his magic taking effect through his music. His song was meant to lull the spirits to their final rest, the seed to be the gift to take their place, but to do it, his song begged for the trees to give their life to it. To sacrifice a fraction of their energy to help it grow.

The more he played, the stronger the wind blew the trees to and fro, the animals within began to stir from their sleep and step closer to shad, soon the tree's began to respond. The forest lit up with a beautiful green light, every tree one by one glowed with the light from every inch, each tree next to it followed until every one was the same. Soon their energy began to seep through the ground and travel to the water, turning it the same brilliant green showing it was full of energy. The forest seemed to sing to Shad as he played and he felt the wind circle around him, his eyes closed since he felt so relaxed, he swore he was lifted off the ground. As if he was being held within Shiva's arms, the seed had sprouted and grew quickly, turning into a smaller version of the same blossom from the ceremony. As the song ended he landed back on the ground and looked at the results of his efforts, he hoped that it was enough and his song was heard by those who are dealing with their loss.

He was quite tired after that so he sat down and leaned against the tree by the puddle, the flute changed back to his cloak and he covered his body with it. Feeling the warmth and his exhaustion taking over, he finally fell asleep and had dreams of his days back home. The forest had gone back to sleep, the light fading as his spell dissipated and the animals soon joined Shad in sleep as well once more.

Tiania

A light sheen of sweat broke out on the blonde witch’s forehead as his dreams continued to burn through his mind. He shivered despite and probably because of the brutality as he saw his goddess fall and crash from power. He jerked awake with a start, his pink eyes blank for a moment before coming to focus on Reina. He gave her a curious look for a moment, then a small, pained smile. “Reina…” He said sleepily, blinking up at her. “I’m tired…” He blatantly stated the fact, though fatigue was written in every aspect of his face and posture. Moments later his eyes opened wide again and he shot up into an erect sitting position, making the witch girl have to scoot back quickly to avoid an accidental head-butt. “Where’s Dunkan? I left him around noon… he has to be up by now! Where is he?” His questions were excited because, yes, he was tired, but he desperately wanted to be near Dunkan in that moment. He was so tired that all he wanted to do was rest, but he needed to tell his love what he’d seen in his dreams.

As lethargic and out of it as Riley was, he felt a bit better with his hand in Reina’s. The blue light faded as he disturbed her spell, but still shone softly; he could feel a small amount of energy racing through his veins like a shot of adrenaline. However, he could tell that something was amiss. Reina didn’t look happy at all, respectful yes, but like there was something eating at her. She definitely had something on her mind, so Riley took a step back from his excitement and eased off of her.
“Reina… what’s wrong?” His eyes were clear and pale pink, empathetic.

Tiania

Romani met the necromancer’s eyes steadily with her own bright white orbs. Now that she had her small family with her, most of it at least, she felt calmer, her hackles weren’t raised, but her guard was back up. She was back to her normal self, the quiet, perceptive, street urchin who looked for food not friends. ’This was a JOB. Find a rich touristy type and con them out of a meal or two, maybe a bit of money. Why did you suddenly decide that friendship was on the table? That these were ‘your own’?’ Romani thought to herself. She was visibly closing herself off from the others in the room, pulling inward, back to herself. She almost believed she’d imagined the deep, quiet laughter at the back of her mind until she heard the words that followed. ‘Aww, but my pet you made such a beautiful butterfly… socializing isn’t so bad as you would like to believe.’ These were the wrong words, even from the mouth of Helios himself Romani bristled at the term “pet”. Her eyes narrowed and her claws curled.

As If she’d only just realized where she was and how much confidence she was putting off, Romani began looking from face to face, her gaze lingering on each for a few seconds, long enough to memorize each one. She shifted her weight from cat paw to cat paw, nervous again, her natural instincts pushing her to be out of this crowded room and out in the open air that she was used to. She did not take well to being in the middle of things, or having all eyes upon her; she didn’t at all like feeling as if she were on display. One of her hands went to her throat, rubbing the fabric there and smoothing it upward as if to make absolute sure that no skin was revealed. The whistle hanging there pressed into her collarbone. ’What say you, Romani? Are you going to come out of your shell? You’ve such a beautiful, strong core once one gets past the kitten you pretend to be. Step out! Embrace the fierce wildcat you truly are! The little shapeshifter hated the feeling of her mind being not fully her own as it was invaded by her deity. Though she loved and worshipped him, she did not take well to being played with and she twitched her nose like a cat twitching its whiskers. Her face remained impassive as Romani fell hard back into her old habit of holding the world at arm’s length. Empathy and protectiveness for her new companions no longer showed on her features in any way.
“I… need some time to myself.”

Taking a calming breath, Romani looked the receptionist dead in the eye and gave the woman her wide-eyed, innocent look; the one that had won her such favor among so many strangers and earned her more than a few good meals. The woman, who’d been watching the scene in the waiting room unfold, gave the shapeshifter a mildly shocked look. She had, up to this point, simply been blending into the background, and being suddenly drawn in startled her. When Romani asked for a wash room the woman pointed to the tiny guest bathroom off of the waiting room. Romani shook her head and asked for something with more room to move and someplace where she could clean up fully and change clothes before later seeing the doctor. The receptionist nodded and nervously peaked into the examination room where Inochi lay sleeping. Assured that nothing would be revealed to the girl, the receptionist guided Romani, looking warily around her with every step as if expecting one of the people in the room to attempt some sort of foul move, into the examination and through. The shapeshifter gave Inochi an odd look as she passed through, wondering what the doctor had given the girl to knock her out so fully.

The receptionist left Romani in the washroom situated off of the examination room. Typically reserved solely for patients, the room was much bigger than the one in the waiting room. It had been a while since she’d done so, but Romani was quite skilled at getting clean in very small spaces. She could have changed form and cleaned herself from the body of some animal, but that would not help her clothes or her hair much, and she sighed, wishing that things could be that easy. Oren gave one purring huff and jumped from her shoulders not quite so gently, leaving tiny pin-pricks in the girl’s skin. The cat curled into a ball and laid her fluffy tail over her nose, leaving her eyes to peer out. Rolling her eyes at this, Romani put her hand into her shirt pocket. Pulling Milo from inside, she put him down on the counter beside Oren. The mouse wasted no time in diving into her bag, but returned shortly after with a few small pieces of the crumbled cake that the doctor had given her that morning. The girl paid him little attention as she untied her belt and the pouches it held; she placed this directly into the wash basin as its braid was speckled with blood. She pushed her skirt down and stepped out of it, letting it pool around her feet in waves of flowing fabric stiffened in places from dried blood. Her shirt, too, had not escaped the scarlet rain from the monster on the road and the material crackled as she pulled it over her head. She did not bother to lock the door behind her.

The gypsy girl stood in the mirror and stared at the familiar form reflected there. Her tiny body looked paler, even, than it normally did and her ribs stood out starkly. Her curves were prominent, though, and her cheeks held high spots of color. She grit her teeth as she took in the nasty, purple-grey color of bruises still growing on her body from the fight on the road. Her hair was matted in places with dried blood, still tacky in others. All of this did not bother her so much as the scars that circled her throat, and she averted her eyes with a pained expression as she saw their ridges standing out conspicuously. With a grunt she heaved her things from the washbasin into the floor. She picked up the heavy curtain of her hair and pooled it into the bowl, turning on the water as she did so. She didn’t bother to adjust the temperature as she rubbed the handsoap from beside the basin through the thick mass until her fingers slid through it easily. When she finished with her hair she continued to wash, fastidiously cleaning every inch of her skin and clearing it of every spot of blood. She paid no attention to time, thinking that if there were some vital need of her presence that she could be fetched.

Saving my moneys to buy Demon Horns and two Twisted Shadows... I've got a ways to go x.x

~Tiania~

Azalea

A deep sigh left Azalea as she watched everything unfold before her. She didn't not like seeing her lady lose herself in despair nor did she like seeing Shad leaving them looking so hurt. But behind all that she was relived to know that Shad had nothing to do with the attack. Aza did not know how well she would handle it if one of their own had betrayed them. 'I owe him an apology for doubting him and one for that demon woman. But she can wait until after I find out why she wants Retnuh.' Sighing again, the elven woman walked over to her lady and pulled her into a comforting embrace. "Kyuu..." She spoke in a soothing soft tone. "It would not be wise to leave right now." She unintentionally began playing with a strand of Kyuu's hair. "Its to dangerous at night and even if you don't want to admit it... we need the help of the others." She knew how her lady felt about the blond haired witch and his lover Dunkan but they were needed. "You are also not in the best state to be traveling right now, emotionally wise." She lead her lady over to the bed, sitting her down. "You need to rest," she told her as she moved to kneel before the blonde. "Its what is best right now for you and the baby." Gently petting her lady's hand, trying to get her to calm down. "I know you want to get him back as soon as possible but you can't act rashly." Giving her lady's hand a gentle squeeze, Aza stood up, backing away slowly.

Looking about the room, she tried to remember where she left the bags they had bought, smacking herself mentally when she realized they were in the hall near the demon's room. "I forgot the bags." She looked back at Kyuu, watching her for a moment as her lady clenched her hands into tiny fists. Aza could tell that Kyuu was trying not to cry by the slight shaking of her small frame. 'I should give her a little time alone...' Clearing her throat lightly, she headed to the door, stopping before it with her hand on the knob. "I will go get them and also bring you something warm to drink." She didn't wait for an answer as she opened the door and closing it as she left.

Heading down the hall, she spotted the bags right where she had left them; thankful that no one had taken them. 'Thank the goddesses.' She thought, picking them up before heading to the first floor. Aza slowed a bit as she walked over to the counter, seeing that the man from before was now with a woman. "Excuse me." She spoke, getting their attention. "Yes? How may I help you?" The man asked, giving her a smile. "Do you have any tea thats good for calming a person?" Aza asked the man, hoping that she did. "Why yes, we have a nice jasmine tea that would help. Would you like some?" Aza gave the man a grateful smile, "Yes please, my room is the fifth one on the right. Please bring some there as soon as you can." Aza was about to leave when she stopped, looking back at the owner. "Oh and a pitcher of fresh water as well, please." The man nodded and went on giving the order to the female employee. Aza left then, pleased that they were getting what she needed. She took her time getting back to the room, hoping that her lady had a chance to weep privately.

Azalea reached her room door, wondering for a moment if she should knock but thought otherwise. 'Its my room... I don't want to give Kyuu the wrong impression.' Taking a deep breath, she opened the door and went in, closing it behind her. Kyuu was still on the bed, but Aza let her be for now. She moved over to the other end of the room and set the bags down. "I've asked for some jasmine tea and a pitcher of water to be brought up." She said, breaking the silence. Aza sighed softly, moving over to Kyuu and sitting down next to her. "Are you going to be alright my lady?" She whispered in a hushed tone.

Reina
Tiania

Reina moved back when Riley sat up adruptly. He looked tired and worried. He did seem disoriented but he didn't seem to have the nausea that came with the drainage of overusing magick. Her magick had done it's job even though it was interrupted and the spell receded as Reina completely let go of Riley's hand. Of course the blonde male witch would want to know where the prince was, they never really left each other's side after being reunited, Reina was surprised to actually not seeing Dunkan. Did something happen?

But with the more important problem at hand, she looked worriedly into Riley's eyes. "I saw Aradia. Please tell me what I saw was not so." she said in a hushed whisper. "the darkness and the pain was unbearable." she added gripping the edge of Riley's seat with white knuckles. "You must've seen it too. Please Riley. I don't know what to do." she said looking lost for the first time. She didn't know what Riley could do. He probably couldn't help Aradia any more than she could. Her prince might be able to, but she didn't know where he was at the moment and that didn't worry her but the thought was starting to bother her.

She chided herself to calm down. Panicking never did anyone good. Especially with such an important situation at hand. There was definitely something going on with her deity and she wanted to know exactly what. The visions she saw were so muddled, she hoped one of the witches she knew saw something more. The worrying and anxiety was killing her. "I don't where Pr- Dunkan is. I thought you might." she said softly on second thought. The important thing was making sure Riley would be back to top shape soon and knowing what happened to Aradia. Everything will be okay she told herself and her breathing was less fastly paced.

She knew that the doctor had left the clinic to go to treat the man that the gyspy girl spoke of and there was still the witch aura she had seen. The gypsy girl left the waiting room, the secretary going with her. Soon the secretary returned, but without the gyspy girl. Reina's eyes followed but she didn't comment. She hadn't know too much about the gypsy girl anyway. But she found it wierd that the atmosphere was so hostile in the first place. Her eyes stopped wandering and they rested back on Riley's clear and pale pink ones. Waiting for some sort of answer that would cause her relief.

Kokyuu

Kokyuu had done her best to keep her composure. She reminded herself repeatedly that it was what a good leader would do. She remained in place on the bed and thought to herself about everything. Had her words been too harsh? Shad fled the room as soon as the opportunity arose. Azalea followed suit, though her leave was not permanent. She knew the woman would be joining her again soon, and was quite possibly just giving Kokyuu time to be alone. Alone? That was the opposite of what she wanted. More than anything she wished he were around. It seemed too easy when he was there, to think up solutions to problems standing before her. He also would have likely dealt with shad in just the right way. It was almost as if it was the mission of the deities to show Kokyuu that he should have been elder in her place, just as his family had always wanted. Could that be true though, or could it have been that he too was just strong in front of her? She needed to be able to be strong even when standing alone, especially if one day she would do it before her people. Kokyuu sighed just as Azalea returned to the room. She nodded to Azalea when she sat down beside her. “I will be. Forgive my weakness.” She said slowly, and the two conversed a little more after the tea was delivered to the room. Kokyuu got permission to spend the night in Azalea’s room and pet Yuki who had lain on the bed beside her after she seemed to calm down. Every now and then the dog would breathe in and out deeply, as if she were waiting for something and becoming impatient. When night fall took over, Kokyuu snuggled up to Azalea in her bed, trailing her fingertips along the woman’s torso and mid-section while idly asking questions sleepily as if she just wanted the confirmation that she wasn’t alone. “How was the doctor with you?” She asked as Yuki curled up behind Kokyuu at the edge of the bed. The response fell upon deaf ears, as Kokyuu had quickly fallen to sleep.

Addie & Ino

Addison led the large man around to the back of the clinic to a large metal area that looked like a garage. On the side of the clinic was a metal panel that he opened and typed some numbers into. After a moment the garage looking area began rising out of the ground and the inside sounded as if it were shifting. After a few moments the wide door lifted to reveal a huge examination room. It was clearly crafted to accommodate whatever sized being needed Addison’s aide. The door closed behind them after they entered and after gaining permission he removed the cloak that covered what he assumed to be an ogre or something of that sort. What actually lay beneath him left his heart racing and with more words than could leave his mouth coherently. What was more pressing at that moment was his wounds. Addison quickly went to work on those, deciding to save his awe for later. It wasn’t the most comfortable, but was likely the only accommodations a man of that stature would receive. The doctor allowed him to remain there and went back into the clinic to check on the rest. His assistant behind the counter let him know that the pink haired girl and the drifter were back in the examination room. He looked over the rest of the people in the waiting room. The witches all seemed fine. He looked to the blonde woman with the blonde man, “Could you take him back to rest? If he needs more than that I will come in the morning.” He said, turning his attention to the dark haired woman. “If you’re feeling well I ask that you also seek me out in the morning, I am closing for the evening.” When everyone left, he made his way to the back. Inochi had just gotten up and was sitting on the table holding her head a little. “After effects not favorable?” He asked, and she nodded to him slowly. He could hear water from the bathroom in the back of the room. He walked over and knocked on the door. “Romani? Inochi’s not taking well to the medication so I’m going to leave my place open for the two of you to stay at tonight if you would like. Upstairs, first room on the right past the common area. If not, please lock the front door when you leave.” He said through the door, and then turned to Inochi and lifted her into his arms. She squealed a little and wiggled away, worried that her head would press against him, but he made no fight to keep her too close. “It’s only because you shouldn’t walk yet. I’ll put you in bed and bring you something to eat. You need your strength to get better.” He said, and she nodded slowly while looking up at him with curious eyes. Addison did just as he said, and after cleaning up from the food she had eaten left Inochi to rest for the evening. He stood by his window idly for a while, waiting to see if Romani would stay or go. His thoughts raced about the pink pigmented woman in the room down the hall, the secretive gypse in his clinic below, and the large dragon-shaped man in the back. What a wonderous evening. The next day would only bring more fun, as he could get closer to those he was curious about. Sleep came quickly, was dreamless and served only to pass time as he pleased. It was as if his eyes opened just as the sun rose into a position where it peered into his windows. He hurried out of bed, cleaned up, and rushed to the kitchen to prepare a meal for the lady he was tending to.

{ Telareil

Retnuh's head slumped over his chest, bobbing in a rhythmic fashion. His breathing was shallow, almost non existent and his colourless eyes stared into the abyss. Hours passed though time seemed to stand still. He never blinked, he never moved from his crouched position. Nothing but the slight movement of his chest gave indication that he was alive. Finally, after what felt like days had passed, a flicker of life erupted from within him. First a twitch of the hand, followed by deeper, less rhythmic breathing. Slowly, he began to move his muscles, blink his eyes and lift his head.

All around him, he could see the ripples of water but could not feel it's element. Through a thin layer, much like a bubble, stood a curious girl. She couldn't be more than 12, yet the look about her indicated that she was dangerous. The two locked eyes, Retnuh's now pitch black irises staring into her completely blank stare. It was odd looking at someone who had no pupils and who's skin was so white it was practically translucent. Her long white hair was pulled into a high pony tail that fell over her shoulders and waist. A short black dress with white lacing caressed her body in movements too fluid to be anywhere but under water. As she stared at him, he could feel her becoming one with his soul. Something inside of him was gravitating towards her and although he did not know who she was, he couldn't help but feel a part of her. Slowly, he brought himself up to his feet and with the movements of a drunkard, made his way towards the young girl.

Retnuh towered over her, forcing him to look down to keep eye contact with her. Her stare radiated with something he had never witnessed before. Around her, he could see the tiny ripples of water disturbing the serenity. He longed to touch her skin, feel her face to know she was real. She was like a missing piece that he needed to be whole. With a shaky hand, Retnuh slowly moved towards the girl. His fingertip were mere centimeters from his prison when a smile spread across her face. It was both frightening and inviting, making him long to know her even more. He seized his advance when he noticed her shaking her head. Could she have heard his thoughts? Did she know that he wanted to know her? Be part of her? And just like that, the strange girl turned around and elegantly walked out the doorway, leaving him completely alone.

Shad Tenish
A Remote Forest

As Dawn began to arrive, the forest seemed to awaken as well, with the rising light, what was once dark from the night began to grow green and vibrant within it. Shad was deep in his slumber still, snoring lightly as he dreamed about what happened back in Tiania. Aly's singing voice was so soothing and beautiful it seemed to haunt him now, he shuffled a bit and his head leaned back against the tree. The morning dew was slipping off the leaves from above and falling on his face, causing him to open his eyes slightly. His vision still blurry his head leaned forward and he went back to sleep, but upon the ground a small furry creature began to scurry toward him. It stopped once in a while to sniff the air to see if he was a threat or not, until the creature climbed across his cloak. It sniffed his nose and Shad opened his eyes once more since he felt the small one's body on his chest, seeing the little eyes staring back at his. Shad shouted and jumped in surprise. Causing the little one to jump and scurry a bit away in fright, Shad rubbed his eyes to recover his vision and take a better look at it. It was a fluffy little Squirrel, Shad smiled at him and tried to be friendly.

"Hello little one, don't be afraid" he said, yawning in between his words a bit since he wasn't awake yet, placing his hand upon the ground. The Squirrel scurried toward him again and sniffed his hand, climbing up his arm and onto his shoulder in a hurry. Shad laughed a bit since his tiny feet tickled him, the little one looked comfy up there so he didn't wish to move him. "I wasn't expecting company so early, are you alone as well?" He stood up slowly and held his cloak in his hands, as he draped it over his shoulders the squirrel quickly jumped and landed within the hood behind Shad like a pouch. He chuckled a little, "I guess you are, well you can come along, let's go find us some breakfast, on the way maybe I'll think of a name for you." Soon Shad headed into the trees, smelling the fresh air and the scent of the leaves and flowers all around him, it was so soothing. His little furry friend stood up in the cloak hood on his back paws with his paws on his shoulders, sniffing the air looking for food excitedly. Soon the scent of rotten fruit filled Shad's nose, he looked to the ground and saw apples that fell to Earth. He looked up and his gaze traveled all the way to the tip top of a tree bigger than anything he'd ever seen, it towered over the trees around it.

Its bark was rough and cracked from age, he decided to climb the tree using the cracks within to his advantage, he wanted to see the view. The Squirrel looked down when they were halfway up the tree and curled up in the hood, shaking from fright, "what's wrong? You should be used to heights if you live in this forest, your trees are even larger than that of my old home." Until Shad stopped mid-climb, hearing the screech of a bird, which made the poor squirrel shiver even more, "ahh, that is why.. don't worry friend, I'm here to protect you." He seemed to stop shivering but still stayed curled up and hidden from sight as Shad was near the top, stepping onto a branch so large it could hold possibly a small house. He looked up into the leaves just above his head and spotted the apples, picking a few and sitting down to his meal, perfectly ripe and juicy they were. The squirrel smelled the food and climbed out of the hood cautiously at first, seeing the coast was clear he sat across from Shad, begging for a nibble. He broke off a small chunk and handed it to his friend which he nabbed and gnawed on in a cute looking way, it made Shad chuckle.

"Hmm, I think its time to give you a name, if you're going to spend time with me I should call you something at least. How about.. Silvio? That sounds perfect for you." He didn't respond, he was too focused on nibbling his food but Shad smiled, "Silvio it is then." Shad continued to eat with Silvio as he looked around at the sights below, it was a sea of green leaves, the canopy so thick you'd think it'd be nothing but darkness underneath. Before he took another bite his ears twitched, hearing the sound of a beautiful instrument carried by the updraft of wind from below. It was so inviting, so.. magical, he felt an urge to find the source of it, he looked at Silvio who had dropped his food and began to scurry away, climbing down the tree. "Silvio, wait, where are you going?!" Shad shouted, watching him jump off and glide through the air, Shad didn't notice he was a flying Squirrel till just then. So Shad jumped off the branch to catch up as his cloak changed to wings in free fall, spotting where Silvio landed he landed within the tree next to it. Though the branch broke underneath his weight and he landed on his back on a pile of dead leaves. Small branches and leaves falling on him from above from impact. His cloak changed back to normal as he looked up, spotting Silvio running off, the song had grown louder now, as if it was calling to them both to find it. He brushed all the leaves out of his hair as he ran after Silvio, having him be the leader, he was more curious than ever about this mysterious song player.

Soon Silvio lead Shad into a small clearing as the trees grew thinner, tree stumps were all over the ground as if they were all chopped down, upon one of the stumps was a small girl. She was the source of the music, surrounded by animals, birds, wolves, bears, all seemed hypnotized by the beautiful tune, even Silvio who sat by a small skunk at the base of the stump. He took a better look at the girl, she wore a small red fox pelt over her shoulders with a thin white cloth across her chest and a matching skirt, a necklace, bracelet, anklets and tiara with various animal fangs attached. long brown hair down her back to her thighs and no shoes at all. She looked to be no older than 15 years old, he stood there mystified at the sight of everything, but she soon opened her eyes, they were a bright green and stared deep into Shad's eyes, he was unsure if it was threatening or inviting. Soon she jumped off the stump and disappeared into the trees as the animals scattered back into the woods, Silvio followed the girl so Shad gave chase. He wanted to know who this girl was and wondered if there were more like her nearby.

It became apparent quite quickly to the doctor, as he scanned through the cooling box, that he had no idea what the pink haired beauty in his room preferred to eat. The night before he had just thrown something together and she was far too influenced by the medication still to have actually tasted anything. He decided then to play it safe and grabbed a few eggs, some cured meat, and a root vegetable. With ingrediants in hand Addison began to move about the kitchen as if cooking were his real passion and medicine was a hobby; which was far from the truth. Mixing things to create a desired affect in any situation became effortless with how long he studied the compound components of the medical field.

Inochi

Hellish visions filled Inochi's mind as she slept, soundly despite her dreams, in the bed she was unfamiliar with. After what seemed like an endless night fogged over by a haze she couldn't quite see past, the smell of food pulled her from her abyss. She smiled as she took note of the light from the rising sun warming her cheeks. Even after the dreams, she smiled; while they were ghastly they meant nothing upon the realization that she was still alive and still free. She called in the scent escaping the kitchen and rubbed her eyes sleepily while sitting up. As she looked around the memories she was left with from the night before returned to her. 'I'm still here...' She thought to herself, sighing. While the doctor had carried her the night before her thoughts turned dark, as if they wanted her to lash out at him for thinking he could invite her to stay at his place; though it angered whatever part of her merely because he was a human. She hushed the memories as she looked around and slipped her legs off the side of the bed to stand and follow the scent that left her stomach growling softly. When her foot met the floor she was left with a jolt of pain shooting up her leg. "Ngh!" She grunted to herself while squinting and clamping her jaw. 'That's right, my ankle.' She sighed a bit as she remained in place, walking would do her no good.

Riley accompanied Reina back to the inn he'd stayed at the nights previous. The two at first kept up a steady stream of conversation over everything, from Rosewick to the situation with Aradia. They tried not to dwell long on the latter, though, as the more they talked on the subject the more disheartened they became. The conversation began to dwindle as they neared the inn and finally died completely when they reached the door to the room Riley and the prince were sharing. Riley did not hesitate, he was worried about Dunkan and wanted to see his beautiful face to assure himself that his ill feelings were for naught. However, when the door opened and Riley saw that his love was still asleep, tangled haphazardly in the sweat soaked sheets, the other bed coverings in shambles, strewn around him. The prince was motionless as death though, the only sign of life the faint, hardly discernible rise and fall of his chest; occasionally his eyelids would flutter as if he were looking at something. A frown lay heavily on his lips.

The young witch rushed to his prince's side. He went to his knees by the bed, ignoring Reina for the time being, and placed his hand carefully on Dunkan's shoulder.
"Dunkan, Dunkan my love, wake up. Please wake up!" Riley crooned quietly but urgently. His tone grew more urgent when he received no response from Dunkan. He shook the prince ever so gently, just a shiver of motion to try and startle him awake, but still no response. With fear filled eyes he Riley turned back to Reina. His very expression begged for help; he didn't know what to do and his heart was like a stone in his chest, heavy and cold, but beating so fast that all he could hear was the blood pounding behind his ears.

Tiania

Romani was using her hands to rub soap and water over her calves, massaging her muscles as she did so; she wasn't sore but the feeling was relaxing. She turned the water off and straightened her body. She stretched, rising onto her toes, raising her arms above her head, and taking a moment to appreciate her minuscule body in the mirror. Her hair hung dripping down her back, still, and looked nearly black. Her bare skin was taut in the cool air, and thin lines of goosebumps snaked their way across it. She turned her eyes down and was about to get into her bag for her change of clothes when she heard a quiet knock on the door.

Romani froze and locked eyes with herself in the mirror. It only took a few seconds for her to recognize the voice of the doctor and she relaxed slightly, but she couldn't discern the words. Cocking her head to the side she elongated her ears, changing them into the rounded ears of her panther form and suddenly his words were clear. The doctor was offering his place for her and Ino. It would almost be rude to refuse him after all he has done for us this evening... Romani's decision was made my her manners even before he finished the offer. She nodded at his instructions though he could not see it, but gave no reply to his words or acknowledgement of his offer. He would see the answer soon enough when he noticed that she nor Ino was leaving.

The shapeshifter let her ears morph back into her own little ones as she once more met her own eyes. This time there was a small smile, the merest raising of the corner of her lips, on her face. It was nice knowing that she had a safe place and a warm bed to sleep in. It didn't hurt that it was the work place and general abode of a very handsome man. For a moment her grin turned mischievous.

Romani dressed quickly, slipping on a pair of thin undergarments first then into her clean skirt and shirt. Both of these were thinner than the ones she'd worn earlier in the day. The shirt was ash grey, short-sleeved, and clung to each of her ribs making her look shadowed and gaunt in the light from above her; it was flatter in sunlight, but not so much when worn now. The skirt was black, but so thin and worn that it was nearly translucent; even in the light she stood in her pale legs could be seen when she moved in certain ways.

Romani whistled very quietly under her breath and Oren (her cat) jumped from his perch. Milo (her mouse) she let crawl into her hand then tucked him into the hood of her shirt; she had it pulled over her shoulder to keep it from being soaked by her hair. She swung her bag onto one shoulder and gathered her gory clothes into her hands carefully, keeping them held away from her body to keep herself clean. She left the bathroom exactly as she'd found it and made her way quickly into the room the doctor had described. Ino was already asleep in the bed and she warred with the want to sleep in a real bed and having to sleep with the girl. The bed won. Dropping her dirty clothes in a pile beside the bed and putting her bag beside of it, Romani climbed (she literally had to climb; it was a sizable bed and she was tiny) into the bed. She moved the pillow from her side under the blankets then looked around as if someone was watching. After setting Milo on the blankets, Romani morphed into her most comfortable form: a cat. Her coloring was different this time. Grey mottled with black and white: the same as her clothing and skin. Her blue-white eyes seemed to glow in the dim light of the room as she nosed her way under the blankets and curled up to sleep in the total dark, comforting softness. It didn't take long. Oren curled up at the top of the blankets, not liking to be covered up, and Milo nestled underneath into the curl of her body.

Saving my moneys to buy Demon Horns and two Twisted Shadows... I've got a ways to go x.x
Alyinne
Tiania

Mulling over her thought quietly, Aly's eyes flickered to the shadows that the candles were making and sighed. She could confront the colorful haired elf but Aly but she didn't know about elf business. Shad's departure made her sad in a way she did not want and she shut the door to her thoughts. She focused on her tired muscles and depleted energy. Having the encounter with her more conniving side, exhausted her and meant that she really didn't get any rest at all. Stretching she went into the bathroom and checked herself in the mirror. Untying her ribbon and check her bandages.

The claw indents were pink but healing and there was not much she could do about the bruising. It would recede in a few days. She took a quick bath, scrubbing the dirt from her skin, hair and under her nails. Satisfied that she was clean, she put on a clean bandage over her small wounds and bruises. The wounds didn't bother her, it was the obvious bruising her her lower neck. The oil she put into the hot bath made the bathroom and her room smell on calming lavendar and freesia.

Aly didn't feel tired after the activity but when her head hit the pillow, she was out and fell into a thankfully, dreamless sleep.

Reina
Tiania

Reina was deeply worried. What would happen to her mother, the people they had back home if what they saw was true. Every part of her brain denied that Aradia, their untouchable and powerful goddess was in trouble. Reina could see their conversation on this matter was not just affecting herself. Riley was starting to become worried as well. As they neared the inn and their conversation ended, Reina focused on the task. They were coming to find Dunkan.

Riley was of course the first to go into the room and Reina's heart felt heavy when she saw her prince unmoving in the bed. She saw slow but sure, rise and fall of his chest, but that did not comfort her. She had seen something like this a few times. The water witches in Rosewick were the designated healers. Anything, big or small was brought to their attention. When Riley, after trying to wake their prince but without success turned to her with an expression of fear and helplessness, Reina knew she had to be strong. They did not know much about any matter at this point. But right now saving the prince was a physical matter she could focus on.

Reina, in a few steps was kneeling by the besides next to Riley. Reina touched Dunkan's sweat soaked forehead and he was burning up. She got up and took a towel from the side to wet with water and then she quickly froze and unfroze making the rolled towel soaked with chilled water and set that on his forehead. Next Reina tested his pulse and it was a very chilling finding. But she did not let it show, for it would just make Riley even more worried. Dunkan's pulse was slow and weak, but still hanging on, a sign of someone who had fallen into a coma.

Reina had no idea what had caused it because as far as she knew, Dunkan hadn't left the room and there were no visible injuries. That left, a magic induced coma, but no one she knew had the power to put someone in a coma. Her brain was going through all the information that she knew and it settled on something that was possible. Could her prince's condition be caused by the situation with their goddess? "Riley, Dunkan is in a coma." she said softly. She took Dunkan's hand and her hand started to glow blue. She was using one of her healing spells to see if it would have any effect.

Azalea

The warm light seeping through the window curtains woke the young elven woman. Azalea slowly sat up as she rubbed the lingering sleepy haze from her eyes. Blinking for a bit, the sight of Yuki and Kyuu still sound a sleep in her bed greeted her. Carefully crawling out of bed, the events from last night returned to her, causing a displeased sigh to leave her lips. The soft sound, waking the dog that was curled up next to her lady. "Shhh... stay here with Kyuu, girl." Aza softly spoke as she moved about the room, getting dressed for the day. It only took a few moments for her to be ready; glancing over to her bed, she noticed that Kyuu was still sleeping. 'I shouldn't wake her... maybe I should bring her something to eat.' The thought of breakfast made her stomach growl with need. Nodding to herself, she grabbed her room key along with coin purse. Looking back she whispered softly. "I'll be right back Yuuki. Be a good girl and guard Kyuu." It looked as if the dog gave her a nod in understanding as she opened the door and left the room, closing the door behind her.

Making sure the door wasz locked properly, Aza headed down the hall to the lobby. The inn owner, greeted her with a warm 'good morning'. Aza smiled to the owner before stepping out into the street. Taking in a deep breath of the cool morning air, she couldn't help but to really smile. It was a lovely morning despite the events that have and will occur for their group. Closing her eyes, Aza prayed to her goddesses, 'Please watch over us and our friends.' The heavy feelings that gathered in her heart felt as if they had lightened a bit with her prayer. Opening her eyes, Aza went on to the nearby cafe for some breakfast. Walking up to the door, she was gald to see that they were already open. 'Good, I don't want to leave Yuuki and Kyuu alone for to long.' She had been worried about her lady after seeing the tale tale signs of tears lines on her cheek. 'She must have been crying in her sleep...' She thought as she walked in to the cafe. Instead of walking to a talbe, she went over to the waitress and ordered some eggs, toast, jam, porridge and breakfast ham to go. Azalea was sure to get enough for all three of them. The cafe was not so busy yet so her order was ready in less than 10 minutes, much to her pleasure. Aza thanked the waitress as she paid for the meals, wishing the woman a good day while leaving.

The hustle and bustle of Tainia was starting to pick up, the sounds of the town were sort of comforting to the elf. 'Its only bee a short time since I've come here but it feels almost like home.' The thought of Nephirum sadden her a bit but it mostly made her miss her kin. Reminiscing in her memories of home, Aza was a bit disappointed that the short walk from the cafe to the inn was over. Going into the inn she walked over to the man at the counter. "May I have a pitcher of fresh fruit juice, two glasses and a bowl of water brought to my room please?" She had hoped with all she had been asking of the man since yesterday was not overwelcoming her stay. But those thoughts went away when he seemed glad to bring them up. Thanking the man, she went on up to her room. Passing the demon's room on the way, Aza wondered if she should go apologize to the demon woman for her behavior. 'I should do so before leaving town.' She thought while unlocking and opening the door of her room. Going in, she clsoed the door behind her before setting the bag of food on the table.

Yuuki welcomed her back with a soft bark; Kyuu still soundly asleep. "I brought you some ham, girl." Aza told her, taking out the plates of food. She was just setting down a plate of ham for Yuuki when knock at her door got her attention. "Come in." She called out, low enough so as not to disturbed her lady's rest. The man fromt he lobby came in, holding a tray ith the juice Aza had asked for. She walked over to him, taking the tray from the man, "Thank you very much." She gave him smile, ushering him out of the room before he noticed the blond elf on her bed. Closing the door with her foot, she went back to the table to set the juice and glasses on it. Aza set the bowl of water down on the floor next to Yuuki's plate of food. "Here you go girl, eat up." She petted the dog when Yuuki came over to eat, her tail waggled happily. The dog's actions, made Aza smile, "I hope with you around, we can make Kyuu feel some happiness on our journey." She spoke these words softly, they were more of an outspoken thought than an actual statement. Aza got up, setting the tray against the wall as she went over to the bags. Sitting on the floor, she got started on unpacking their shopping bags, only to repack them in her bags as she waited for Kyuu to awaken.

Doctor Addison Maxwell Livingston III
Tiania

The doctor looked around as he began making enough food for three people. Romani seemed easy enough to gauge, she was a native of Tiania. He realized as he was making food and moving throughout the kitchen that he likely should have offered her a place to keep the cake that he had given her the day before, considering he gave her a place to sleep and all. He dished the food out onto two plates, leaving the third in the kitchen. It seemed the safest of routes; if Romani had decided to stay he would have a plate for the both of the girls. If not he would be able to eat with Inochi and get to know her a little better. He wondered, as he walked through the apartment towards the room that he instructed them to sleep in, if the bandanna covering the parts of her he was so curious about would still be concealing them from his curious eyes. Once he reached the door, he knocked on it twice. Once lightly, in case she was asleep, and the second time a little louder to ensure his presence was known.

Inochi
Tiania

Inochi looked around the room upon the realization that she couldn't quite move yet. How long would it be until the doctor came to her so she could get up? It made her uncomfortable to feel trapped as she did now, and more than that she had to empty her bladder as usual after waking up. She groaned softly to herself. As she looked around she saw a cat laying on the bed beside her, on top of the blankets. Beside it was a small mound under the blankets. 'A pillow?' She wondered to herself as she stare at the cat who still seemed motionless. 'Is it asleep?' Her mind continued to wander, though it was more likely that the cat hadn't much cared about the girl moving since it's master didn't seem alarmed. Inochi, on the other hand, believed the cat to be Romani. She didn't remember much from the night before but hadn't remembered the doctor speak of owning a cat. She eyed it for a moment, nibbling on the inside of her lip nervously. She reached her hand out slowly, though she paused after a moment. Animals didn't take kindly to Diclonius where she was from. Perhaps it was because of their violent nature, or their unpredictable use of unseen arms that were ruthless weapons. If it was Romani though, she wouldn't know any of this. Would this animal turn on her as she much remembered strays to after she finally walked the streets of her former home? She decided to take the chance. If the animal did turn on her she would heed it's warning shots and leave it be. She would also know that it wasn't Romani. Just as she began to move her hand again, she heard the light knock on the door and stopped, turning her attention to it then. “Hm?” She mumbled out, though quietly. It was followed by another knock. “You can come in, I'm awake.” She said, though she sounded hesitant. This would be her savior for the time being.

Kokyuu
Tiania

Sleep was supposed to be the one place Kokyuu was safe; the one place she could find serenity amongst the madness she had found herself thrown in to as of late. That night, however, her dreams were not to take her to the place she so longed to be. Within that beautiful meadow hidden along the trees of the winding maze-like paths of her secluded home. She wasn't blessed with the warmth of the sun on her pale skin, or the fresh scent of the rare flower that bloomed abundant and would caress her skin in the lightly blowing breeze as she napped in what she felt like was her own personal haven whenever she could escape to do so. That place had called to her every night as she slept. As if the plants and wildlife missed her as much as she missed it. That night her dreams left her elsewhere within her woodland home. It was so surreal, so.... strange. Everything was the same, and yet completely different. Familiar faces walked along the paths and the usual merchants were out delivering and selling their wares. It was -almost- as if nothing had ever changed, except the large golden gate at the other end of the city that stood in a clearing of trees. A path? There was never a single path in or out of Nephirum. The adornments along the metal was so intricate, so elegant.

Kokyuu sighed out a little, both as herself in her dream like state and in her sleep across from Azalea in the darkness. What was this insanity that her mind taunted her with? Never would a simple pilgrimage such as hers actually change the fate that hundred before her were so set on keeping. The gate, if anything, made it feel ever more like those inside were trapped; and now on display like exotic birds in a magnificent cage. Her head cast down at her thoughts, if this was the outcome of what she was doing... why was she doing it? A hand, so gentle and familiar, lay on her bare shoulder as she look down. The sound of a smile could be heard coming from the person that she dare not look up at. Just how far would these images go? Were they trying to pull her apart? If she were any less of a woman she may just have succumbed to them. A light, airy giggle escaped from behind her as her thoughts raced. One she had never heard before not once in all her time within the city. Were strangers allowed in? To walk through those gates as if being allowed into heaven? No. Surely not. That would be too far. While Kokyuu wanted to know the truth and regain freedom for her people.. she had already seen the things others did to the planet around her from her travels. The smog and machine filled twin port cities were absolutely disgusting to the refined elf. She turned her head, expecting to see some foreign woman beside the figure she had been trying not to look at. Though the sight before her was far worse than she expected, and left her in a sort of shock.

Sitting there atop Retnuh's shoulder was a small girl with waist long raven hair. Her features were as gentle as his yet as effortlessly beautiful as her own. Pointed ears stuck out behind braids that were entwined and tied with white ribbon. Deep crimson eyes met with her own, yet flashed brightly in an array of colors for a moment before one settled on a golden color and the other reverted to red. Kokyuu blinked. Was that...? The little girl slipped off of his shoulder and skipped over to Kokyuu's side, grabbing on to her hand. “Mama he's leaving again” The little girl said in protest. Mama? So it was. Kokyuu turned and looked over Retnuh, and sure as the girl said he seemed ready to be off on some sort of journey. Unease twirled within her stomach as she saw the sack he held and the quiver of arrows on his back with his bow. Retnuh... why? She couldn't help but wonder why such images would dance teasingly along within her subconscious. It was then as if her body was no longer her own. She looked down at the child and smiled. “Not to worry, darling. Papa will come back. He always does, doesn't he?” She asked, her tone light and care free. Always? Retnuh left a lot? It would make sense if her dreams were following the reality around her. He left multiple times and returned to her so far in this little journey. Would he return this time? As if her dreams were responding to her Retnuh lifted his hand and cradled the side of Kokyuu's face, turning it so her eyes met his. “How could I not when such beauty awaits me here?” It was worded as a question, but his tone left it clear that his words were a statement. His eyes shined the same gold that they had when his lust and excitement had them begging her for more. His expression and words made her feel like she were the only thing he could see, even amongst the awe striking picture of their home.

Tears left Kokyuu as she slept, continuously haunted by more and more images. How could her mind show her everything she wanted laced with everything she knew was wrong. Freedom for her people at the cost of them being on display like a zoo. The family she wanted for her child at the expense of Retnuh having to return to Nephirum from where he fled. And that romantic scene between them. No Elven man could be so captivated by just one woman; and even though on the rare occasion one was... Retnuh would never be the one to settle down so easily. With the way he jumped from her, to Dunkan, to her, and then that night he spent away... surely he wouldn't have eyes for only one. Her dreams shifted to that of the actions they preformed most when together, and she jolted awake when the realistic feelings became too intense for her. She sat up and looked around the room. Azalea was across it at a table and Yuki was on the floor eating beside her. “Morning.” She said, and her tone lingered on uneasy and slightly embarrassed. Had she made any noises in her sleep? She looked around a moment and then slipped out of bed, staggering a little. “It's morning. We should go soon.” She said, eyes cast downward. She didn't know if her dreams had any meaning, but she wouldn't let them affect her. The task at hand was saving Retnuh, and returning him to the very things he left home seeking. Even if she and Azalea had to go alone, they needed to move. She turned to the table and grabbed a pen and paper, taking them with her as she crossed the room to the table Azalea sat at. Her eyes crossed the food the girl brought and her stomach rumbled lightly, but that would have to wait.

She quickly scribbled a note on a few of the sheets; her hand writing as perfect as always. “I could no longer wait to leave, and I understand we each have our own things to attend to. Azalea and I have gone towards Sylph and will likely remain in that city a day or two before moving on yet again. There may be a hard road ahead of us, as we have set out to do something even we do not fully understand; but we've decided to save Retnuh. Those who choose to follow may learn a great deal. I thank you for the time we have spent together, it was a treasure meeting you. It will be a welcomed meeting if we see each other again. I will leave a note to the next destination at the first inn at the entrance to Sylph for those who wish to join but are delayed in following. Good luck in your travels and may the deities watch over you. -Kokyuu” were the words she scribbled on each and every page. Exactly the same without having to refer to a prior one to check the wording. Afterwards she grabbed a few pins and left the room. In the hallway she tacked a note on the door to the room Reina stayed in, the room she knew Dunkan and Riley were staying in, and lastly on the room Aly had stayed in.

It was odd leaving one on the last, but she knew the demon would relay the message had she seen Shad. Even if the man had made a foolish decision, he was an Elf like any other. As a leader she couldn't shun him for a simple mistake, not without being just as bad as the group that led her kind currently. He left looking for knowledge, just as she had. His acceptance of other races would give even her the answers she needed, and she hoped to one day get the chance to apologize to him in person. Aly also seemed to have some sort of connection to Retnuh, which is why Kokyuu left his name in the note. If anything, it would draw the curious demon in and answer some questions left lingering in the curious leader's mind. That night he was away, was he with her? She couldn't think of another time where they could have met unless it was before he got to Tiania. Either way, she wanted to know why the raven haired girl was looking for him. When she finished she returned to the room and sat down in front of Azalea. “Thank you for breakfast, Aza. I left a note on the doors to the others. I think it best if we leave quickly. They can follow later if they wish.” She said, taking some of the food and beginning to eat. “Don't you agree?” She asked, though she hoped her statement was enough to sway the woman.

Azalea

The light sound of the dog eating was the only thing heard as Aza double checked her bags, not wanting to leave anything behind. Satisfied, she stood, stretching enough to work the knicks from her back. Soft sighs coming from her bed drew her attention, 'that sounds like...' a sudden shake of her head, stopped her thoughts in their tracks. Aza tuned out the sounds Kyuu was making as she went over to her chair, sitting down she began to eat. She hadn't noticed when her lady woke until she heard a her speak. "Morning," she replied in between mouthfuls. A simple nod showed her agreement to Kyuu's next words. Azalea watched silently as her lady wrote on a few sheets of paper; not even making a sound as Kyuu left, papers in hand, only to return just a few moments later.

Kyuu sat down, filling her plate with food, something that made Aza feel much better; though not for long as she listened to the woman before her speak. Anxiety, a vexing feeling that had become more and more accustomed to overcoming the evlen woman as of late, returned once again. Exhaling softly, she began to speak, "Yes, I agree." Aza paused for a moment before continuing. "I think it would be foolish on our part to wait any longer." Lifting her glass, she drank what juice was left within it. She placed the glass down, "I've already rechecked my packs and am ready to leave when you are." She pushed her anxious feeling away, not wanting that feeling to come over as doubt. 'I have no doubts, this is the right path.' She stated, the words reassuring her. Azalea poured herself another glass of juice as she waited for her lady to finish eating and for their journey begin.
