View topic - ~: The Fox's Quest :~
Okay, here's the deal...over the course of the past 2 or 3 weeks I've been experimenting with Ernya's dream av maker.
This was half as an attempt to get the "dreamer" sticker, which I succeeded in doing, and half as an attempt to see if I can drum up a snazzy new look for my forum avatar...because to be honest the one I have right now seems a bit cluttered to me.
Here's the 20 avatars I wound up making;

Now from those 20 avatars I selected 10 to seperate out into single avatar piccies, each one with a list of items used.
I will tick a few items off every once in a while as I gather them to help me keep track.

I would most definatly like to be able to make all 10 of those avatars a reality for my official forum avatar...the last one most especially so. But it ain't gonna be easy. Knowing where to look for it all is gonna be especially tricky.
That's where this quest thread of mine comes in. I made it so my fellow Ernyans can give me a hand by giving some pointers as to where to go to buy the stuff I want...and if some generous folks want to donate some items to my cause, all the better! =^_^=
And of course it can also serve as another place for all my good friends to blurb and make goldz. :3

Favourite Books; Well, my book collection comprises mostly of Garfield collections and comic annuals...but there are a few gems buried in there such as books from the original Animals Of Farthing Wood Book series, "The Adventure Begins", "In The Grip Of Winter", "The Seige Of White Deer Park", "Fox's Feud", "The Fox Cub Bold", "Battle For The Park" and "In The Path Of The Storm"...I also got James Herriot's "If Only They Could Talk", "It Shouldn't Happen To A Vet", "Vet In Harness" and "Vets Might Fly"...I also got Richard Robinson's "Why The World Is Wonky"...a good handful of nature books..a book about Chess...a couple of books about trains...aaand that's about it. :P

Let's see...what else can I divulge about myself? Oh, yes...
I actually live in a suburb in the south-east corner of Greater Manchester. There's a local nature reserve just a 10 to 15 minute walk down the road from my house. I visit there occasionally when I want a bit of fresh air, excersize, and a bit of peace and quiet to hear my thoughts. =^_^=
But I'm also lazy. I'm not ashamed to admit it, but it is frustrating that my laziness prevents me from committing to something long term that's a lot of hard work, such as going to the gym to actually get fit rather than be this out-of-shape, pudgey me. <_<
I'm single IRL. It's not so much shyness as it is a lack of self-confidence combined with my lazyness wanting to keep the status quo as much as possible.
It doesn't help matters when things go horribly wrong when I DO try to make changes in my life...with relationship status or other things... :/
I'm a Wiccan in training. I was kind of introduced to it by my best RL friend and as I learned more about it I discovered there may be something to it. Too many people seem to think Wicca is nothing but evil but that's not the case. :/
I call myself the Unique Enigma. Folks have told me I'm unique in that I'm not like other guys. Which is true, I don't have a one-track mind like them. Folks have also said I'm an enigma, which is also true...I'm so much of an enigma, not even I know who I am fully! :o
I'm also a Nergork..."Nergork" is the words "Nerd", "Geek" and "Dork" mashed together and therefore represents the meanings of those three words put together. There's kind of a funny story behind how "Nergork" came about...a friend sorta came up with it out of the blue when they called me a nerd, a geek and a dork all at once and then it was like, "Nergork!" "Oh, look, it's a new word! Quick, tell the guys who make the dictionary" "Seriously, best word ever!" XD
I'm also Smexy, which is a word mash of smart and sexy. I worked that out myself one day. Heh. Makes sense, don't it? So, yeah...I'm smexy...in my own way. ;)
I'm very open-minded, meaning I'm comfortable with accepting people for who they are, so long as they're not...butt-holes, for want of a better word. :/
I'm also golden-hearted, I'd rather make friends than enimies. I try my best to be nice to everybody. Mind you, sometimes there's just no avoiding being unfriendly to some people, but eh, what're you gonna do? :/
I'm also crazy. But in a good way. We all have to be a little crazy to survive in this crazy modern world we live in. :P
And yesh, I am very much british. You would NOT believe how often foreign girls have gone absolutely crazy for my accent. Heh. Pity it doesn't work on british girls... :/
