I like the Zeromancer and Deadstar Assembly covers of that song.
I think I like the Zeromancer version better though.
I don't really like the original, but I don't really like 80s music, so that's why.

In a trail of fire I know we will be free again,
In the end we will be one.
In a trail of fire I'll burn before you bury me,
Set your sights for the sun.

I just don't like it. //shrugs
I can appreciate where it got us with music today.
But doesn't make me a fan. =P

Kinda like Elvis, I know he was a big deal and w/out him no rock music or cool musics that I like.
But I am not too fond of his music.

MAY 25 IS MY FIRST ANNIVERSARY HERE IN ERNYA
FEEL FREE TO SEND ME GIFTS AND GREETINGS..
I can't stand people who get all pissy about the "orignal" whenever a song has a million covers, or a cover they don't personally like.

Yeah, okay, Kate Bush did "Running Up That Hill" first. Doesn't change the fact that PLACEBO FREAKING ROCKED THAT SHIT INTO GOLD.

Also, "Hallelujah"? Totally made a hundred times better by Rufus Wainwright. Sorry to all the Leonard Cohen fans, but it's true.

Also, Manson's "Sweet Dreams" cover was like my grade ten anthem, and no other version of that song will ever feel right to me.

I love covers.

Also, Muse's cover of "Feeling Good". Love.

Chester See does an amazing cover of "Hallelujah." Sadly, the school blocks YouTube so I can't post the link.
And I love the song 1985!
And I can't believe how many covers there are of all those songs! That either means they're really good, really funny, or really stupid.
