Tomorrow Elder Scrolls V Skyrim will hit the shelves. Are you excited? I preordered and I can't wait to get my item!

Actually the preorder item is a paper map that comes inside the game case, so maybe they all have it and there was no special preorder item?

My dad hogs the TV all day so I'll probably wait to get it... no point paying full price if I barely play it. :p
I never played Oblivion, so it'll be a new experience.

I'm excited. However since I only have a PC, I'll be waiting for a GOTY edition since these games are notoriously buggy at launch(for PC). 
I never had a pc game that didn't glitch. Wonder why they're so bad for that.
Well I looked up more reviews today and I am getting really excited to see these dragons! I think this game is going to be so much fun. I think I will try to recreate my character from Oblivion so she can continue her adventures.

I just found out about the release party today, I won't be doing that though because I have an appointment in the morning and I can't be out all night! I will just wait until tomorrow and then spend the whole weekend enjoying the game.
I got mine at the Midnight release. I'm excited to play more but I'm feeling a bit tired. From what I've played its amazing. The graphics are excellent and I love the amount of customization you can have for you character. I know I'll be spending the next few days on this baby. :D
I'm a little disappointed you can't choose a class and customize your character by what sign you were born under and all those little things.. But the scenery is beautiful and I like all the little side quests and things you can do. Right now I'm trying to untangle myself from someone else's love triangle and steal something back from a group of thieves! I've only been in one dungeon so far and it's so much bigger than the ones in Oblivion!

My character has contracted a disease! rofl People in town keep telling me I look sick. I think it's just ataxia, nothing too serious.
Skyrim is my first Elder Scrolls game so I have no pre-notions going into it. I'm having lots of fun playing it. My one big disappointment is how ugly the elves are. I really wanted to be one but, they are just not appealing at all v.v

It is not very different from Oblivion at all, if anything it is a little dumbed down and less realistic. In Oblivion your weapons and armor wear out and need to be repaired or replaced, and the horses in each city have different strengths to go with their breeds. In Skyrim your armor lasts forever and all the horses are the same except their colors! I like Oblivion's map better too, Skyrim tried to make it 3D but it messes it up a little.
Still I love Skyrim and I can not stop playing this game! I've played for 30 hours now.
I have slain at least 4 dragons. I don't have a house yet, I want to buy the one in Markarth but I read that you have to be level 20 and I'm level 15. I think I will marry Vorstag from Markarth, he helped me on some difficult quests and I like his voice actor. I was considering stealing Camille from her elf boyfriend, also her brother is a jerk to her. But I've been away from Riverwood for so long now it's like a forgotten memory.. I have been in Markarth for days, there is sooo much to do! The city is beautiful, I wish it were not so corrupt.

Anyone also having this issue where you sold your soul to this game?
Skyrim is my first Elder Scrolls game...kinda. I have and tried Oblivion but the damn thing glitched on me from the get go. Skyrim did the same in fact during the intro. Took me about 5 tries to get it working properly.
