I was wondering what sims game you like. Do you still play the first one? do you like the second one? do you like the third one? How long have you been playing?
I've been playing since the first one. When I was in middle school. Its really changed over the years. SO far I'm really loving the third one. I cannot wait to get the pets version. I've played it on my sisters computer and it seems to be a blast to play!

Heh you know me, Duet, I have loved all three but I almost wish that they had worked out more of the bugs before releasing Sims 3. Sims 2 was my other favorite since it had so many expansion packs and gave you a wide gameplay variety. Particularly with the weather features.
I don't have a computer good enough to run sims properly*My boyfriend does though*, so i've always played sims on the consoles.
I HAVE played a bit of sims1 and sims2 on the PC at my friend's house before though.

The consoles and hand helds have a bunch of different versions of sims. I never played sims2 on the consoles.
I own sims3 on xbox360 and sims3 pets on PS3.
The sims are fun on consoles but obviously NOWHERE near as good as the PC versions. Especially because PC gets all the expansions. And sims 3 pets is an expansion on PC but for consoles it's a whole new game.
I really enjoy Sims 3. I enjoy sims3 pets but the frame rate on it is kind of bad. It lags behind a bit when selecting choices and just overall in the game. There are also a lot of glitches.
I've had my litter box just stop working. It's not broke or needed cleaned because it was the one that cleans on it's own, it just stops working. I would try to make my pet use it and it just acts as if it's an object the pet can't interact with so I had to sell it and get another.
I've had my sims get stuck min the middle of what they're doing and I have to reload my game to get them to stop. I gave save and reload and it's fine usually. I've had this problem in both sims3 and sims3 pets. But one time in sims3 I saved and reloaded and I was still stuck so I had to use my sim who wasn't stuck and move them to another house and move back and my sim was unstuck.
But then my laptop disappeared and the table it was on, I couldn't sell it because it said it was in use.
On sims 3 pets i'd be cooking and it would glitch and the food would never cook. I'd stop go away come back, and no matter what i'd do it wouldn't cook so i'd have to reload. I also had the leveling up skill bar stuck above my head.@_@
I still like both games though. I love the pets. I just wish they took more time with it.
I'd love to be able to play the PC ones.@_@

I started out playing the sims 1 back in elementary school. My mom had gotten it as a christmas present from my uncle and the one time she let me play it, it came to be my game.
Since then I've played almost every sims game that came along. Sims 2 was pretty cool but when the sims 3 came out all the others just went out the window for me. I think it was the fact that you can customize almost everything in the game and be able to place objects at an angle that really made it special.

When sims 3 first came out, I didn't like it at all, because I was to much in to sims 2, but now I love the sims 3

I've had the original The Sims since 2000, and since have bought all of the expansions, stuff packs and extra content. XD
I still play Sims 1 every now and then, LOVE Sims 2 and play Sims 3 probably the least (Though mainly because Pets seemed to screw my game so I had to uninstall it, and I wanted horses D<)
I bought The Sims 3 a little while back, and to be honest I've barely played it. The character creation is just so in depth it takes me hours to make one character. And then by the time I'm finished making that character, I don't want to play the game anymore :P I've made 3 characters so far, and that's about it. So, since I've barely gotten into the game, I would say I prefer The Sims 2 at this point.
SIMS 3 is one one of my favorites. My laptop is meant to be used for school however, so I uninstalled University for Fastlanes. I lost spiral staircases for motorcyles. :p I do enjoy the SIMS for the lives I can lead, but my real passion is building. I'm hoping I can find spiral staircases and club stuff in the next small expansion.
