Well... I am here for a different problem
this time. I just need some advice kind of
And someone to talk to. I am 22 years old
And I had my first seizure On Nov 11th 2011.
I had woke up Feeling fine that day. And I was
just relaxing. Well I went over and sat by the
dog cage. I picked up one of the puppy's well
I guess while I was holding the puppy my mom
said I had a seizure.. My face Turned Purple
My eyes rolled In the back of my head I was
shaking really bad And,I was foaming at the
mouth...I don't remember It. I guess After a
seizure you are so out of It and so weak.
I was fine. I got up and was heading to
the Kitchen. Mom made me sit down
said she called the hospital and
An ambulance was on the way. There
was about 6-7 Guys around me
asking me What my name was what day It
was all of that to make sure I did not
lose my memory. they put the Tube Oxygen
mask on me and then got me and got me to
the hospital. So yeah...They did an MRI
and a couple of tests. they thought two
meds I was on caused It the doctor said It
did not. they could not find anything wrong
so the doctor sent me home told me I had to
go get an EEG. so I went and got an EEG.
The doctor did the EEG. It was about an hour
and a half long? I think If Im right. And...
He went to look at the tests And the whole
time he was telling me the Results he had this
big ass smile on his face. He was an asshole..
He told me "well The meds you were on did not
cause the seizure. It Is not epilepsy.
But I just...I dont know...First I get
sick with bad stomach problems for over
a year. And they have not found anything
wrong I am 5'0 tall I went from weighing 190
when I first got sick with the stomach problems.
And Now I am at 105 LBS. but yeah. as for what
they did med wise the doctor put me on Keppra
250 MG two times a day for two years.
Once In the morning 8 am and once at night 8 pm.
And, I now cant drive for two years...
Also I have been smoking Marijuana for
a while now. And It helps with the pain.
One of the doctors I was seeing tryed
telling me I can't smoke because It makes
It worse. I have only had one seizure.
It helps my head. If my head feels funny
It helps a lot with pain so yeah.. but
What I am really wanting Is Advice. People
to talk to. I dont know how to keep Calm
If my head starts to feel funny.
How do I tell If a seizure might be coming on.
some times my head feels tingly and numb and I
see fuzzy. so I have to relax and try to breathe.
I have only had one seizure.
How do I find out what type of seizures I have?
I tryed to do some research on google. I am not sure
If Its type A or what. But I dont remember the seizure.

right now Its like this Orange pill. I guess Its got the side effects of
having seizures If you take the two meds together or even not together.

Anyway. as for the type of pain when I first got sick It felt like there was a hard ball Right above my belly button. It would be a really bad sharp pain to where It felt like I was being stabbed In the stomach with a knife and someone turning It In circles and pulling It. It would be on my sides most the time. some times my lower stomach. It would be so bad It hurts just moving. But After a while The pain went away It Is rarely bad now ~knock on wood~ I still have stomach problems though and Its not better yet. They have done many tests. They dont know whats wrong. I have always had a problem with Potassium And Magnesium. I have almost always needed to get potassium when I ended up In the hospital. And, at first when I would go they would find I had a bladder Infection too almost every time when I first when In.
I have problems holding food In being able to eat Or even tasting It and It agreeing with my stomach. I did almost die at 13 By a bleeding Ulcer caused by stress they checked that And, It Is not that. so yeah...
I just really dont know what to do any more. I am stumped...
Any advice will help... Anyone who had experiences like these feel free to share If you have any advice feel free to give It. Any Ideas what The stomach problem might be or what ever... All I am asking for Is advice If you have no advice please
dont come In and say That No one else would pretty much help me...

If doctors can't help you, a random stranger on the internet is not likely to either. All I can tell you is visit different doctors and see what they tell you. You'd hate to be misdiagnosed by a random person with no medical credentials.
It sounds as though you need to see better doctors. I would recommend either a well established place like Mayo or a University affiliated hospital. I have had to see quite a few doctors myself due to a constellation of health problems. In your case I would definitely recommend a gastroenterologist to start with. Also, have your regular doctor run a full spectrum blood work including a thyroid work up.
My sister gets seizures a lot. The doctors did all kinds of tests and have no idea what causes it. They won't put her on meds either cuz sometimes she'll go for over a year without one. They're just random.
But what I do know is when she smokes weed, the risk of her having a seizure greatly increases. At least twice right after smoking she had a seizure. I haven't seen or talked to her in months and her bf smokes weed, so it could have happened again. I know she doesn't (or didn't) smoke it a lot. Only once in a great while, if other people offered it to her.
So just watch yourself. I'm not saying to stop smoking or anything, especially seeing as you have only had one seizure, but if you start having them right after smoking, or the same day you smoked, you should think about cutting back.
Oh, and when she's really really stressed, she has a seizure. And when she sees her own blood, like if she gets cut or something and blood just pours out and won't stop. One time she got a tiny little nick on her hand, but the blood wasn't stopping, so I wrapped it in a washcloth and had her sit down on the toilet and hold her hand over her head. Unfortunately, I wasn't thinking to keep an eye on her face or I would have noticed the warning signs (pale, eyes rolling or difficulty keeping them open). Just when I was about to tell her the bleeding stopped, she slumps over. I caught her just before she smacked her head, but she's shaking like crazy, weighs more than me already, totally deadweight, and on top of that, she happened to be wearing a slippery silk shirt. It was very difficult to keep her from smacking her head on the sink. I jokingly yelled at it for all that stuff when she finally came around, in attempt to cheer her up.
So maybe keep a journal and write down everything that happened the day you have a seizure, and maybe you can figure out what causes them for you. Have people who were around you that day help you, in case you can't remember what happened. My sister often forgets what happened before the seizure. We usually have to fill her in.

Yeah I write In a journal every night before bed
with everything going on Im almost stressed all the time.
my mom just bought me three new journals so I am thinking
of just using one for how Ive been feeling what Ive been
doing that day. so that might help. Thank you for that Idea
I started writing How Ive been feeling body wise ect when I got
It because the last couple of days I have been seeing cross eyed
and double. the back of my head has been numb and tingly.
I herd we cant have a lot of caffeine Cause It could cause
one. My aunt said I may need a little. she poured me a very
small glass. I was kind of nervous but took a couple of small
drinks and I could see better. There has been a lot of stress
since we have had to deal with CPS and cops. My 5 year old
niece and 6 year old nephew were getting beat with a belt by
there dad just for bringing up there mom or anything to do with her.
so we had to get them In It. and she has the kids now. I have cut
back quit a bit on smoking I was smoking from not a pipe but something
bigger till It broke so I am only smoking when I am In a lot of pain
or take a hit when I wake up and right before bed. so I have cut back.
