The Among Series, Haddix is the last name of the Author.

If any other than that, Try Just Ella. (:

PM for Literate Role plays. Semi-Lit as well.
Enchantress from the stars by Sylvia Engdahl is a really really good book and it makes you think about things (in a fun way). It's complicated to explain how it works but it's wonderful.

I have read quite a few. >^.^<

Graceling and Fire by Kristin Cashore. Both exhibit strong female leads and are very very good.
White Cat (Workers Series), Tithe, Valiant, Ironside (Modern Day Faerie's tale) all by Holly Black.
Violet Wings by Victoria Hanley. All about faeries in a different world interacting with humans. Seer and the Sword, Light of the Oracle, Healer's Keep also by Hanley are set in a more medieval setting. They are all amazing books.

I have others, but I'll leave it at that for now. X3

The best book I've ever read is It by Stephen King. It's quite adult though and very graphic and gory.

Please accept me back with open arms ; ~ ;

Its quite a long read and definitely has some adult content, but if that is not a problem, I highly recommend The Mists of Avalon. It is a really amazing take on the Autherian legends written from the view point of several of the prominent female characters. It really is a good read.

I liked The Mists of Avalon movie. I have the book, but I haven't read it yet!

For moving stories and books I would say To Kill A Mockingbird, The Giver, pretty much anything by Oscar Wilde, The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar by Roald Dahl, The Hunchback of Notre-Dame, Les Miserables, maybe Only Time Will Tell and Hospice and Grief: Paul & Sylvia's Love Across the Veil. You've probably already read most of that stuff though!

i'd recomend many - most of all classics.
The Picture Of Dorian Gray (Oscar Wilde) is a MUST!

i loved Angels and Demons from Dan Brown - much better than The DaVinci Code. (the movies kinda suck a bit!)

and well, i absolutelly love "Moise Raconté par les Sages"... but that's just me, i guess. :)

The classics are always a good choice. I havent read To Kll a Mockingbird in ages. I should reread pride and Prejudice but add Zombies to it!!!

Chihiro what is that last book you mentioned ?

Hehe. I'm kind of afraid to try to the zombiefied version. I'm so afraid they butchered the book! But I probably will try it eventually.
