FAQ
What is a randomized signature?
A randomized signature is a signature that changes the picture in the signature everytime you reload the signature. It's very easy to make and a great way to show off several pieces of artwork without having to change your signature every 5 minutes.
Here is an example of my signature, try and press F5 to make a new image appear:
What do I need to make a randomized signature?
In order to make a randomized signature you need:
1. Several images saved onto your computer
2. An account on
this website

Making a Randomized Signature Step by Step:
Finding and Resizing Images
1. First you need the images you want to show up in a signature. These can be pictures you already have saved on your computer or these can just be random images from google. I went to google and searched for "Colour" and found these two images
If you search on google for images, save the images you want on your computer
2. Now you need to check if all your pictures are below 500 pixels in width and height. One of my images has the properties 600x471, meaning it's 600 pixels wide and 471 pixels high, so it's too big for an ernyan signature. To fix that I'll resize the image with this website.
To resize, Just select your the picture on your computer. Pick "Quick Resize" (Dark Red Circle). Since it's the width that is too big on my picture I choose "Custom Size", write 500 in the width-box and pick "Pixels" in the drop down menu (Dark Purple Circle)
On the next page make sure the properties for the new image are less than 500x500 (Dark Blue Box) and then save the image to your computer (Teal Circle)
Making the Randomizer
3. Go to this website and make an account. Log in and select "Your Randomizers" in the menu. Then give your randomizer a name and click create. I named my randomizer "Test" (Dark Green Circle)
4. The new randomizer will now be added to your list of randomizers (Dark Purple Square). To add images click on "Modify Images" (Dark Red Circle)
5. Use the Uploader to find the image on your computer and upload it to your randomizer (Dark Red Square). When you upload an image it is added to the randomizer (Dark Blue Square). Remember to delete the empty image (Dark Green Square) or it will show up as an empty image in your randomizer
6. You can see the URLs of the images currently added to your randomizer in the URL-list (Dark Red Square). If you want to see all the images you can use the "Load All Images"-button (Dark Purple Circle). When you're done adding images to your randomizer you click "Save" (Dark Green Square) and the randomizer is done
Adding the Randomizer to your signature
7. To add the randomizer to your signature you go to "Your Randomizers" and select (Dark Red Square) the URL for your randomizer (Dark Blue Square) and copy it. My randomizer's URL is: http://a.random-image.net/ebbe/test.jpg
8. Then on Ernya go to your "Settings" -> Board Prefernces -> Posting Settings. In the signature area write "". In my signature I'll write:
Code:
And in my signature it will show this:
