yeah and that is fine, i prefer the girly sweet look, and that is what is great about these site, you can make your avi look however you want it to look, if you want to be a different sex its fine, and no one judges you for that.

Oh I know.
I'm just saying, I like the punker/goth/whatever other genre look other than the usual girlie or whatever.

I love your avatars, but I am so far from girly, and I guess it shows on here.

It does, but that's okay. You make cute avatars.
I just generally don't like that lifestyle. It takes way too much effort, and not just because I'm lazy, but because of the lifestyle I'VE chosen to live. I live for gaming of all kinds, be it trading cards, video games, or tabletop gaming.

I'd rather spend my money on what I deem important than stuff other people want me to buy.

I like some girly things. :D But I don't like spending lots of money to be girly >.>;

To me it's more of a lifestyle. If people want to look, dress and act a certain way, it's a lifestyle.

I don't have the time nor the energy. xD Besides, I don't look all that special anyway. It looks great on some people, but it's not for me.

yeah. but you can be girly and not be a high matenance girly type, like i am.

Eh, it doesn't really appeal to me.
I've never really liked the effort involved. I'd rather spend my money on video games and food.

i don't really have money, but i'm still girly.

I'm not very girl at all. I never look at myself in the mirror, never.
HOWEVER........ I do care to make my self look nice when I go out to see family and stuff. I'll put on make up and straighten my hair if I am going to some event, or something like that. Usually though, I just put a hair band on with a pony tail. I did for a while start wearing makeup again, but that is too much effort. In the end I wondered why I even bothered. My boyfriend always tells me how pretty I am with out it :P
Also, I do like wearing more pleasing clothing. I used to wear all that gothic-ish clothing from HS and what not... While I still miss some of my old cloths, I also am loving the new stuff too.
I still wear cloths that are comfy, and not too girly at all, but still nice looking. I only have one shirt that is "girly" and I got that to speak at a charity event at OHSU :)

For me it's all about personal comfort.
I will wear what I feel comfortable in. If it's a cute plaid shirt I got from Old Navy, I will wear it. The oversized gaming shirt from Walmart? I will wear it. Those tight jeans from Target? I will wear them if they are comfy enough.

I will not wear stuff because I "have to" or because people tell me I should. Why should I force myself into something I don't like because someone else thinks I should do it/wear it/whatever?

comfort > fashion/girly

I don't wear things that are not comfortable either. Clothing has come a long way... And there is almost nothing that is not comfy... If it is not comfortable then that's probably due to the fact that it doesn't fit you. xD

There are clothes where the fabric irritates my skin and I can't wear them. Stiff clothes, shirts that are too low-cut, skinny jeans, stuff like that.

Are you saying low cut shirts are itchy?
