How this works: I have an item that seems to be in high demand (NPC SET) with people questing, and it seems difficult for them to get because of inflation and competition. So I’m going to take offers on this item ONLY from people who can prove they’ve been questing this item and do not already have it. There will be a short application to fill out in order to be entered in this auction, and then I will take offers on the item, leading to two short essays. There is one big special bonus to help people questing: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE WHAT YOU ARE OFFERING AT THE TIME. I will hold the item I am selling for a maximum of 3 months to allow the winning quester to save up for their item. More explanation of this below in the fourth post.
So long as you don't have a complete set, you can participate in this auction.

1. Follow the TOS. This should be obvious.
2. Gateway Criteria. You may only participate if you do not already have the item I am auctioning, are questing that item, and have been on Ernya for over three months. Last criterion removed for special auction~

4. Think I missed your post? Do not badger me. I am a busy person, I try to be online every day, and I will take care of things then. Please do not personal message me/comment me/keep reposting your application if I do not respond within 5 seconds of you posting. If for some reason I have clearly missed your application, please repost it ONCE in a bright colored font.
5. Do not ask for donations. This is an auction for people who are willing to work for their items, to allow them to save up and avoid inflation and cutthroat competition during bid wars.
6. Rules of Conduct. Do not attempt to slander or push away other applicants to make you more likely to be chosen. THIS IS AN AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFIER, as it demonstrates a clear lack of personal responsibility, positive community contributions, and quite frankly proves you are not deserving of the opportunity.
7. Who votes for the winner? I am the final decision-maker in who wins. I will briefly explain why I chose this person. I do not use polls to vote for a winner because I think that is inherently unfair and that completing a quest is already too much of a popularity contest.
8. Trouble meeting your goal. If, for some reason, you find you cannot reach your goal in the time set, please inform me IMMEDIATELY. I will try to work something out with you, I am very understanding. This does not mean you can use my kindness, however. If I find out you’ve fallen short because you spent all your quest gold on other things, I will not be very likely to help you.

SECTION TWO.
The acceptable range of offers for this set is 110-130k.
Once enough applicants have been chosen, we will move onto the second round of the auction, where people post their bids. There’s three parts to this section though, which will help weed out people who really want the item and those who merely want to profit. Post Part One first, then move on to Part Two and Three.
Part Two and Three should be posted in the thread in one post if possible please.
Part One: Post a bid on the item within the acceptable range listed for that item. It can be in a pure, hearts (@ 250 gold each), items, or a mix of them, all event items in an offer must be approved. Please do not over-value items in an offer, there is no real need to as you will have all the time you need to save up and the offer will not change regardless of how the item inflates during the time you spend saving.
Part Two: In about a paragraph, explain how you see yourself reasonably meeting that offer within the time allowed. If you think you will finish significantly earlier than the three month set date, please mention that, and say about when you think you’ll be done (in weeks). Try to set goals for yourself as well as to show me how you’re going to do it, such as setting posting goals you can reasonably reach. Three months is 90+ days, is a great deal of time to post for gold. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE THE HIGHEST BID TO WIN.
Part Three: In at least two paragraphs (but no more than five please), explain why you think you most deserve the item being auctioned. Tell me a bit about yourself. Nothing embarrassing or damaging has to go here, and I’d rather it didn’t for both our sakes! Have you already worked hard for the item, but been pushed away by inflation? Do you run a charity to help others, or have you helped someone in the past in any way? Are you generally kind and courteous on the forums and in the exchange? Have you been a part of the community for a great deal of time, or been particularly involved in it? This will be one of the major determining factors in the winner of the auction, do not blow this section off!

I will take everything submitted into consideration, especially part two and part three listed above. I will also follow all applicants around, tracking a few of your posts to see how you treat others around you. I will not inform you when I do this, as you really shouldn’t need to know to behave well. I don’t expect anyone to be saints here and I know people have bad days, but if you go around making trouble for others and rampantly breaking rules I will not consider your application very highly. I alone will decide who wins.

If after the three months (or agreed upon time limit) there has been no payment and no contact made to explain an adverse situation that would require further time, I am free to annul my contractual obligation to hold the item and may put it back in this auction or sell it for profit. I will send out ONE personal message to the person a week before payment is due to remind them (or more often if the person wishes), and if I do not receive a response or payment two weeks after the timestamp of that personal message, I will assume the person no longer desires the item.
I reserve the right to deny further holding time if the winning quester does not have the funds ready at the agreed time of payment and does not provide an adequate reason why. I may grant up to another month if I feel the quester’s reasons for not reaching their goal are understandable.
The winning quester may back out of the agreement at any time, but must send me a personal message to inform me of this as soon as they possibly can.

This is where I chronicle what items I personally have quested for the auction, and what I wish to work up to for future auctions.
February/March: Quested a Berry Fairy to start the auction. Succeeded.
April: Quested a second Pandamore for the Pandamore auction. Succeeded. Also quested an Orange Coin to complete a third coin set for the auction. Succeeded.
May: Saved for the Emo Panda quest.
June: No specific quests made during this period.
July: Used auction funds to acquire a full spell set for a later auction. Funds to be returned to storage after the sale of the spell set.
September: Quested more items for the auction, got a ragdoll body and a lolita skull.
November: Emo Panda donated by the lovely Leah~ <3
Working up to: An Emo Panda, using what I can get from the auctions and outside sales I hope to reach this goal by the time the auction is 1 year old. Current funds: 20k + 240 hearts/400k
