I’m 19 years young and I attend Appalachian State University. ( Go Mountaineers! ) I'm a Communication Advertising major with a minor in International Business and Mandarin Chinese. I’ve taken 3 years in highschool, and I’m on my 4th now. I was actually lucky enough to venture to China in the summer of 2008.
I went to the two provinces Jiangsu and Henan, also stopping in Shanghai for 2 days. It was amazing, and shocking all at the same time. So many cultural differences sort of wowed me. Lets just say I was happy to get home and use a normal toilet. ;D My main interests are concentrated in Asia and Asian studies, but I love photography and art as well.
I’m also a huge movie buff. My favorites range from Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas to Requiem of a Dream. I love horror films the most. Hack and slash are fine but I’m most interested in psychological films. I like watching a film and being left with tons of questions and goosebumps. It’s an exciting feeling.
