About Alu~
Well hello, now that ive written up a little list of interests and dislikes, i guess ill get to work on a little blob of text about myself. where to begin.. well my real name is Alex, but all the way back in 8th grade i some how ended gup with the nick name Alu, pronounced "Aloo". It doesnt really mean anything.. its just kind of there. :P but i use it in signing all my art and whatever i make, its like a pen name i guess. gotta get it copy writed eventually if it isnt already.
Personality wise im a little on the care free side, my moto is moving forward is all you can do in life. when bad things happen, no mater how bad, its okay to cry, be happy, be angry, but all you can do is push forward and live life to its fullest! Dont worry so much when bad things happen, and think of bad news as not being bad but just being "complicating".

My two favorite things inthe world besides my family and friends and those who love me are food and artwork. I dont consider myself a great artist like the best who ever lived but im talented in many forms of it. i do digital, multimedia, sketches, fashion, etc. i do like to draw anime styled things but i have my own style as well, just like every artist does. id love to get into sculpting painting and interior design later in life. and if i had the muscle, id like to do metal fabrications but all those tools and sparks kinda scare me.
As for food some people find it odd that i like it so much.. and im so tall and thin. i have no secrets to how its just luckyish genetics that i have a rather fast metabolism. I love to try new things and i have a great appetite for adventure. some things on my to try list right now are lobster, crab, red snapper, Beef Ribs, Goat, and Oysters. for a long time in my life i didnt like sea food too much but now i wanna try it and expand. i think the reason being is because my mother mainly cooks and doesnt like sea food so has a hard time prepairing it. (not that shes a bad cook, shes a GREAT cook, seafood just isnt her strong point. :D ) But my father grew up near the ocean so he had alot of sea food experiance in his life, so hes gonna teach me how to make delishus sea food meals :3 I also love Italian, Greek, Asian, and Some Mexican Dishes. Spicy is not for me though. Nor is Fast Food...

Um, one thing i struggle with in life is Cancer. As of November 3rd 2009 i was diagnosed with Leukemia, type A.L.L. this type of cancer occours when your bone marrow, the stuff that produces your blood, creates too many white blood cells and not enough of the other cells. in your body you white blood cell count should be somewhere around 10.00 (thats like.. in the thousands actually) and when i came in my white blood count was 176.00.. way off the charts.
Right now i am doing fine, at home, and being treated with ChemoTherapy. it hasnt gotten bad yet, and im recovering at a normal rate. hopefully i will be cured one day. that day is far away but hopefully.. :3 it all goes back to the moto of pushing are persuing forward. its all i can do, its how i live life, with a smile and forward. :3
