...and on that happy note, welcome to my profile! I'm Louise, a Japanese-American female in the US, and basically a standard internet gal - slightly artsy, silly, and a total nerd :P Proud of it, too!
If you were wondering about my username, it means Green Tea in Japanese, and is pronounced Matcha. If you weren't wondering, then whatever, you can call me Green Tea or Matcha anyways :) I've been through three usernames so far, but my latest is just a variation of the last. 流暢な日本語を話すよ!
I go through a lot of obsessions. My current one is Harry Potter. Lupin's my favorite character, but Snape is just so much fun to make fun of... >:D Unlike most people on here, I'm not that into manga/anime. The exception is Studio Ghibli. Spirited Away/千と千尋 is my favorite movie. I grew up watching it in Japanese :D
I like drawing in the realistic style, or in one of my own. I'm not too bad at it, and I'd like to continue it in the future. I also like writing, though my poetry needs work. Something I drew:
My music is mostly indie, and my favorite song right now is King of Carrot Flowers pt. 1 by Neutral Milk Hotel. It's really catchy :)
