Hello. My name is Mel.
I'm 21, engaged, and I live in Guam.
I have a cat that I consider my kid; he needs constant care and attention. If he doesn't get it, he makes a mess out of my belongings.
My fiance is the love of my life. We can't legally get married in the state I would like to be married in, but one day that will change.
I am in college at the moment for my Associates of Arts in Elementary Education. I plan to continue for my BA as soon as I get my Associates. I then plan to get my BA in English immediately after.
I'm quite a friendly person even though I am heavily opinionated in several areas. I prefer not to discuss politics, religion, or military. There is really no use in trying to engage me in a conversation about those three subjects, because you will get nowhere with me. Most other subjects are fine. I am quite nifty in giving advice in areas such as relationships, parenting, parent-related issues, sexuality, and life in general. I like connecting with rape victims and those who are contemplating suicide, because I feel that they are in need of emotional support.

I want to be a mother, but it's physically impossible for several reasons.
I like writing. Poetry and short stories are my forte.
I'm obsessed with proper English. 'Color' and 'Colour' are both correct.
In addition to that, literacy will get you everywhere with me.
My favorite color is Pink.
I'm a pajama fiend. If I could live in my pajamas, I'd do it.
I am obviously a lesbian, but my sexual orientation does not make who I am. It is my wish that when you think of me as a person, you leave my orientation out of it.
My favorite animals are cats, pandas, and cows.
