He actually told her that he was weak. It had surprised her, a lot. She couldn't help but notice how much on edge he seemed about talking about the subject here. She couldn't help but wonder why he would be hiding by the vampires, his own kind. Katrina was curious about his brother as well. She had questions for him and needed to find out the answers. "Alright. I think I can believe you, but let's go somewhere with not so many people so that we can speak more about it." She shook her head. "Never knew any of...you could be so fearful." She was watching what she said because she did not want to attract attention either.

Getting up off the bar stool, she glanced towards the drunk girl. "My name is, Katrina. I'd say nice to meet you but...you know. What about your friend over there?" She questioned him. She didn't want to just leave like that if the girl was of some importance. It would have been rude.

"She is fine. I met her outside. She lit my cig. and we both came in together." he looked over at her, drunk as hell. "She would be safer here with all these people than out there." he nodded his head to the door. "You above anyone would know that." He didn't try to sound mean by the comment, but she was a hunter and for all he knew was one of the ones that had last seen him.
A small frown appeared back on her face. He was right. She really should have known that. It was stupid of her and she would beat herself up for it, but that would come later. This conversation was much more important. She began to walk towards the door, by stuck by his side, though at a distance of course. She had to keep her eyes on him at every moment. "I know a little area, not far from here. No one is ever there."

"Are you not afraid I would attack you there?" He was surprised she had picked an isolated place rather than a place that had a little more people or even with more hunters. "Unless of course there are other hunters there. Either way as long as I am not attacked I am fine." he walked out of the bar and followed the girl to where she was wanting to go.
"I can handle myself just fine." She knew it was a lie, but if she could get him to believe it, then all the better. She lead him to a park, and as she said, no one was there. Spotting a little jungle gym, she leaned against one of the pieces, staring at him. It was the first time she actually was going to have a real conversation with a vampire. She hoped that is what was going to happen anyway. The gun was pushing up against her back a bit but it didn't bother her in the least."So, whats the story? What do you know?"

Adrien walked over to a swing and sat down in it. He pushed off with his feet a little and looked down at the sand being kicked by his feet. "So what is it you want to know? If it is about the killings I don't know anything about it. I stay in my house and only come out when I can't take the taste of rat blood." Like tonight, he had been dining on rat blood for a week and he was in need of actual blood, but he wasn't going to just attack anyone and especially this girl near him. He liked her for some reason.
Katrina watched him. He seemed so innocent. She hadn't known any vampire's to be like this. It was odd observing him just swing on the swing. It seemed to simple of a thing for the vampire, but yet here he was, doing just that. "Rat blood, huh? Though sound's better than human blood." She wasn't even going to bring up him killing someone when he couldn't stand the rat blood anymore. He was being good, and so would she. Plus, if what he said was true, if he was as weak as he said, then talking about blood probably wouldn't help the situation. "So why are you so afraid of other vampire's finding you?"

"Because of my brother. When we were first turned he was a good brother and was nice to other people. But the power of his strength and everything that comes with being a vampire went to his head. He began making enemies with other vampires while making friends with the kind I don't want to be around. They all think he left something with me. I don't even know what it is they are talking about. I would rather not be found by any others. The ones that do show up are his friends...or were. He went missing a few years ago." He kicked his feet again then looked up at her.
Katrina listened quietly as he spoke the short story. She couldn't help but feel bad for him. His own brother not only going on a power hunt, but to just disappear like that. It must have been hard. Slowly, she was beginning to trust him. She didn't know why, but she just didn't think he could have been lying about the events. "I'm sorry." She said truthfully. "It must be hard, to not only hide from possible hunters, but vampires too. Maybe one day your brother will see what he is doing and change back to how he once was."

"What would be the point? He had always instructed that if he disappeared I was to remain at the house, because unlike him I could never harm someone just for the fun of it or to save my life. I am weaker than any around. I am most likely weaker than a child vampire." He shook his head and looked up at her. "You said you had questions. What were they?"
A small smile formed on her lips. "At least you know he does care. If he didn't, he wouldn't have told you to stay there." Though she could not help but be worried for the poor vampire. The brother's friend's could know where the two lived. They could still go after this one. "Children vampire's are pretty scary..." She didn't really have to much to say after that. It made her think of the child she had killed. "Well, so far you answered most of them, some that I didn't even have to ask. I know that some of the attacks are indeed from vampires, but there are other attacks that I'm not too sure on. Do you know anything about those?"
