View topic - Pokemon Night and Day (no posting)
This is where I will set up introductions to my original Pokemon trainers, from a made-up game set called Pokemon Night and Pokemon Day :D These titles were made by me following the normal theme of Pokemon games, which is to have two games with the same concept but different available Pokemon (ex. Pokemon Red and Blue, Pokemon Gold and Silver, Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, etc). I plan to have an amateur webcomic out eventually using this title.

Night and Day is set in the Johto region of the world; a region sporting only the first two generations of pokemon (traditionally). The story follows a 10-year-old girl, Emily, who is just starting out on her Pokemon journey, as most children do. On her journey her goal is to collect all of the Johto gym badges, granting her the ability to enter the Pokemon League. Should she be able to complete this, she would be granted the title "Pokemon Champion".

About Emily:
Olivine City in the anime.
Emily is from Olivine City, a seaside community famous for its ancient lighthouse and port. Emily spent a lot of time at the beach before her Pokemon journey and always feels at home when near the sea. A legend floats around Olivine about a legendary pokemon named Dragonite, which guards the lighthouse and guides lost sailors and pokemon trainers to the port. Emily always kept the legend at heart and, of course, was ecstatic when she received a dratini (the pre-evolution of dragonite) in Blackthorn City.

Mental Aspect
Base trait: adventurous. Emily loves excitement, sand so she constantly pushes forward and lives in the moment.
Supportive trait: impulsive. While she does have plans, Emily is able to take action without too much thought.
Fatal trait: naive. She prides herself on knowledge of pokemon, but when it comes to social situations, Emily can be easily led on. This also tends to get her into trouble.
Hidden trait: tender heart. Being so bent on having strength, Emily fights her sensitive side. Sometimes, however, her mother's caretaker genes show through, especially when someone or something is being treated without the respect and love it deserves.
Social Aspect
Emily is the child of a sailor, Jack, and a nurse, Elune. As a young child Emily enjoyed going out to sea with her father and using a sketchbook to document all of the different kinds of pokemon, plants, and knowledge of the sea and its habits.
During a war with Unova, Emily's father was killed in battle. Emily carries around his sketchbook and leather travel bag on her Pokemon journey. Before entering the Pokemon League, Emily's mother gives her her father's sailor ascot and medal of honor to wear as a headband.
When it comes to clothing, Emily wears comfortable clothes. She wears a loose long sleeve shirt with the Pokemon League symbol on it (a gothic letter "P" surrounded by laurel), a dark blue one-piece swimsuit underneath that ties behind her neck, a pair of plain jean shorts, and comfy blue sneakers. She carries around a brown leather travel bag in which she keeps all of her things.
A female Pikachu was her starter pokemon.

However, Harlow was more interested in exploring the caves and lighthouse at night than spending her days on the beach. Even on her journey she enjoys exploring spooky places and testing the evidence of legends. One particular legend she explored was the one of Dragonite, a rare pokemon who helped sailors and pokemon lost at sea find their way to safety.

Base trait: curiosity. Harlow always wants to know how, when, and for what reason an event happens. She loves legends and books.
Supportive trait: dauntless. At night, even as a small child, she would sneak into places that would normally scare others her age.
Fatal trait: impudent. Harlow has a tendency to look down on others who are not as powerful, smart, or brave as she is.
Hidden trait: harried. Harlow did not have a happy home life, and by constantly living in legends, she attempts to escape her problems.
Social Aspect
Harlow was born in Olivine City to an unwed teenage mother and grew up only knowing her step father as a father figure. Neither were very attentive to her, so Harlow often sought out other forms of attention. She would sneak out of her house at night and explore the caves and lighthouse, sometimes getting caught by passing sailors or policemen guarding the area. As she got older, she befriended Emily and Jazz and spent a lot of time teaching them about the legends she'd learned.
Harlow prefers to wear subdued colors such as deep purple and black. Such colors are easy to hide in the dark in. She carries her things in an old, dark gray backpack.
Harlow's first pokemon was an aipom she discovered in the forests just outside Olivine City one night.

Logan is from Goldenrod City, which is best known for its radio tower and enormous department store. He started his Pokemon journey in order to prove to his father, a fighting-type pokemon master, that he is tough and strong, but deep down Logan's dream is to build and host a Contest Hall for Pokemon beauty contests.

Likes: cooking poffins (pokemon candies)

Mental Aspect
Base trait: gentle. Logan is always very careful when handling emotions and physically wounded pokemon and people.
Supportive trait: loyal. While he is not particularly brave, as anyone traveling the region should be, Logan never abandons someone in need.
Fatal trait: disparaged. Logan's father puts him down constantly for not being "manly", so Logan feels he is not good enough for anything despite his attempts to live up to his father's image.
Hidden trait: fierce. Until provoked, Logan is gentle. But should the situation arise, Logan can be unforgiving.
Social Aspect
Logan was born to two rich, noteworthy fighting-type pokemon champions in Goldenrod City. He attends school regularly and does not fight unless he is forced to by either his parents or his peers. He'd originally wanted to continue school through age ten to become a top Pokemon connoisseur and host Pokemon beauty contests. But after constant discouraging conversations with his father, Logan gave it up and started his journey just as his father originally wanted.
Logan loves bright colors. His favorite color is yellow, the brightest of them all. He carries around a black and gray checkered bag.
Logan's starter pokemon was, much to his father's dismay, an eevee. He received it as a gift from Bill, the creator of the Pokemon Storage Systems.

Ruth is from Ecruteak City, a small village that is almost completely separated from the technological world. It is best known for its dance theater, in which the Komono Girls will dance with their different evolutions of eevee. However, Ruth thrives in technology, feeling lost without it.

Mental Aspect
Base trait: brilliant. Ruth was never into sports like pokemon battles or dancing, so she spent a lot of time with her books, expanding both her mind and view of life.
Supportive trait: disciplined. As her parents were very strict on her, Ruth is able to focus for extended periods of time and meet exacting demands.
Fatal trait: frank. Ruth tends to forget to be tactful and can unintentionally hurt the feelings of others.
Hidden trait: fortunate. For some reason, Ruth is graced with very good luck. Such a trait comes in handy in dangerous situations.
Social Aspect
Ruth is the child of a historian and a kimono girl. Her parents are very happy together and very loving to Ruth and her little brother. She has always had everything she needed and sometimes the things she wanted. However, at school, she was often bullied because she wasn't as pretty as some of the other girls and because she always had her nose in a book rather than dancing or practice battling the other students.
Ruth likes simple clothing, but due to her respect to her mother, she usually wears a pretty blouse with a matching skirt.
Joltik, a pokemon only native to the Unova region, was her starter pokemon. Ruth took Joltik to school every day, but was very good at hiding him. Of course, sometimes she couldn't help but prank the other students.
