How many of you remember watching Original Pokemon and pretending that you were a pokemon trainer? I definitely do.

I just received Season 1 Pokemon: Indigo League episodes 1-26 from amazon.com

Somehow it's better than I remember it. It's probably because it's been so long since I watched it.

Hi! Yes, I think that the Original season was one of the best seasons. I've already watched all 26 episodes of the first half of the first season that I bought. Need more Pokemon.

Venomoth and Gengar are amazing pokemon. Do you remember the first time Gengar made an appearance on the show as the part of the trio of trickster ghost pokemon in Lavender Town? (I just watched the episode)
I did the same thing with the trading card game when I was little too.
Unfortunately, I never had the honor of playing one of the original pokemon games, because my parents were obsessed with getting me the boyish Mario games which I loathed. My first pokemon game was Pearl, and I loved it, though someday I'm going to pick up an old system or three and go back and play the original games. Especially the Gameboy Advance ones. I've missed so much and I've been a fan since the beginning too.

Growlithe is so adorable! I always wanted one in real life so that I could pick it up and cuddle with it.
Blastoise is a good pokemon.

Charmander/Meleon/Izard, Growlithe, Arcanine, Houndour/Doom have always been my favourite xD
And I'm totally a pokemon master . I still own blue, yellow, crystal and silver for my gameboy colours.
I also have soulsilver <3 which is my all time favourite edition. (obviously xD).
I also have platinum, diamond, shapphire and ruby.... But I kinda gave up on them because I really don't like any of the new ones (ESPECIALLY BLACK AND WHITE OH GOD).

I used to play the trading card game back in grade 6, when it was all the rage in middle school. Didn't know the REAL way to play it, but we made it through.... I gained a lot of good rare cards then xD
I still have my rares to this day, but lost everything else.

I love Pokemon too! And yes, Pokemon Indigo is part of the Master Quest. You have some excellent favorite pokemon.
I'm not a huge fan of Black and White either. I played one of them through to the finish, then started the other one, was just kind of like meh, what's the point. I never had the fortunate experience of playing any of the early games (parents and those stupid Mario games grr I never showed interest in those, never played them still do not understand why money was wasted), but I have been fortunate enough to have been able to play everything since Pearl came out. I've played Pearl, Diamond, Platinum, Heartgold, Soulsilver, Black and White (though I can't remember which one I started and which one I finished) and I have played all of the Pokemon Ranger games that have come out in the past few years.
Original James was funny! And what about Meowth's gangster voice? I wish they had made Meowth keep that voice!
And yes, Professor Oak is quite something. He's quite the ignoramus at first though when Ash first mentions thinking that he has seen Ho'oh in the first couple of episodes, though the name of the legendary pokemon is not known at the time. But that's part of what is so wonderful about him.

I loved the original 150, and do wish they'd have just given us different evolutions for everything after. The periods of 'original-ness' fades every couple games and I do wish they'd just evolve those which we've clamored for. Love disk for example.

I did wish I was a trainer at one point though and kept a fire pokemon with me. Vulpix, charmander, and Ninetails were all my most valued. XD

Haha... I remember that. When I was little me, my brother and best friend were the ultimate Pokemon masters :)
I rode around on my Ponyta who hated me (and still does in my Soul Silver game, it "pokes my belly" a lot, which I interpret as calling me fat).
My brother tried his best to keep snorlax awake, and my best friend couldn't keep furret from searching for berries in his hair...
