I personally prefer offline relationships to online, roleplaying sex and actually having sex are totally different kettles of fish, and it's no secret what one I prefer. xD
Good luck finding a new partner, if you look hard enough you'll find a few lovely people that might create a spark in you. (:
I like either of them... online i feel i can be myself more and in real life im kinda shy so i dont realy exspress myself much... and i agree with the pervert thing... ya never know how old they realy are or anything
They each have there good and bad qualities i think. I am a little more outgoing online cause no one can see me. I very rarely even talk to people unless i need to offline. that is just how anitsocial i am. but opening up online has helped me a lot offline.. I am sure you will fine someone that fits your bill.
I prefer offline relationships as I need the human interaction, although my partner lives over 6 hours away from me so in a way it is like an online relationship, as i did meet him through a mutual friend of oursand we started talking on FB...
it turns out we had a few photos together prior to meeting each other properly xD
We're in the same community so it was easy for us to eet up and such, although we were best friends for almost 6 months before we actually confessed we had feelins of interest towards each other.
I understand the being able to hide behind a computer screen as I have somewhat low self esteem because of people at schools opinions of me, but the more comfortable you become with someone in person if you take out the whole "sex" factor then its alot easier to gain self confidence.
I am moremyself online then if anyone were to meet me in public... I met a few people when I went overseas that I had met online, and sure I was comfortable around them, but not nearly as comfortably as I am when theres a computer screen infront of me.
Online relationships are cool and all. I have been in one for over 2 years now. They are easier than RL in the beginning, no responsibilities, full-time privacy, etc. but I can tell you that when things get serious it gets much harder than RL especially if you are too far apart. Not to mention online relationships are still considered taboo in some parts of the world. But if you two really love each other, the hardships will turn sweet and you'll be okay.
im not looking for love and nothing serious
its just good fun
its not like i could find someone on here and 'click with them' that lives in same country even the same state.
It would be rare to find that
Its just nice to be able to come online after a hard day and have that one person to chat to
I haven't had any relationship, let alone an online one.
But if I do ever decide to have one, I'd rather have an offline one. I know online relationships have their advantages and all, but I don't trust them, especially after what I've seen and heard from a friend.
But... um, what is your issue? oO From what it seems to me, you don't seem to be looking for advice on whether or not you should have an online relationship?
The fox who longed for grapes, beholds with pain
The tempting clusters were too high to gain;
Grieved in his heart he forced a careless smile,
And cried ,‘They’re sharp and hardly worth my while.’ Aphra Behn
I've never had an online relationship before so I guess I cant say which I would prefer. Though I cant imagine an online one being as fulfilling as a irl one. Maybe its one of those things I shouldn't knock until I try though? lol
