personally i think online relationships are stupid. its not a relationship if you have never even actually been in the same room as that person. i'm sorry but there is no way i will ever believe that a two year online relationship is as strong as a two year actual relationship with people who can see each other, hold each other when something bad happens, and laugh together during good times.

also this is no an attack. i don't give a damn what you do with your life. its just my opinion so don't take it the wrong way.

I've been in an online relationship for almost five years, and it has worked out really well. He visits me over the summer, so we do get to see each other in real life. It was hard at first, when we had never met, but after we met for the first time, it became really easy. He eventually plans to move over here when I finish high school.

I wouldn't say that anybody could do this, since my situation was pretty unique, but it CAN happen. :)

Don't fool yourself into thinking you can hide behind the screen in an online relationship if you are looking for a TRUE relationship.

It's easy to be one person and strike up and hit it off with someone- but for a relationship to last it will eventually become more than just online, or you're just setting yourself up for a letdown.

Online relationships.. I've had a few of those as well as ones IRL. To roleplay with my significant other..? Now that I only got involved with one of my relationships. And it was fun.

I just hate being told that I'm intimidating.
I'm always down for a good RP none-the-less.
