So I remember when Okami first came out, I only wanted to get it because it had cute wolves, and was cute and japanese.
I'm SO glad I purchased it--its one of the most visually stunning games I've ever played, and even if the gameplay gets repetitive sometimes, looking at it is NEVER boring. What about you guys?
I got okami because I saw something for it when G4 used to show Cinematecs really late at night. I love it, i didn't think the gameplay got old. It is very beautiful and I love the characters and music. Its pretty close to being the best game I ever got someone to buy for me lol I wish Clover hadn't gotten disbanded.
This game was really fun! the gameplay got slow at times, but the graphics are really stunning, and I liked that the interface was different, fighting by using brush strokes. I also was taking an asian art history class at the time, and defiantly noticed things I was learning about in class used in the scenes of the game.
It was hard to find in stores I kept looking and bought it as soon as I saw it. You might have better luck looking online.
Everybody knows Issun is the reason why people played the game, he was hilarious XD And what does everyone think: Like Wakka more with his helmet on or off?
❥ I got Okami right when it came out on PS2 and loved it.
I replayed it immediately and then again.
It didn't even get to feel repetitive to me for the most part since fights eventually were dealt with so fast.
Well, okay, the boss fights that repeated obviously got a little boring after a while.
Played it again a year ago on Wii but didn't get far. Waggling doesn't make for a good move on the basic attack for me. I:
So I was disappointed. Surprisingly drawing came easier on the PS2 for me, too.
I've yet to play the DS game, though I have a DS. Just no cash.
I've wanted to own/play it ever since it came out, but I didn't have the money at the time and now I can't find it anywhere ; -;
For me one of the most beautiful, addictive, fun and awesomely scored games on the PS2 was Klonoa 2 C:
I love that game to pieces ^.^
Want to buy another copy just in case my original gets scratched P:
@Yulrek: Wakka was adorable either way but I liked him better without his helmet.
I was thinking about getting Okamiden but to go from the PS2 to the DS is such a large jump in the graphics center, and it's not that im big on graphics it's the simple fact that it was so beautiful on the PS2/Wii and I don't think the DS will be able to depict it. I'm kinda torn about it, so i'll just play Okami over again :3
I myself purchased the game when I initially got my Wii, which wasn't that long ago and I'm so glad I got it. I wanna get Okamiden for the DS 'cause it looks rather fun.
