I love the idea! >^.^< It sounds so cute!

I don't think it's inappropriate for an avatar site to have something that has to do with pregnancy. I think it's being more tolerant than anything.

I like this idea.
Maybe the can introduce different shirts that have "Prego" bellies in an Event of some sort. Maybe around mothers day?

I'm sorry but this makes no sense to me.. you don't want your AVI to look all fat, yet you yourself want to get big and pop out a life that looking at your picture you don't even look old enough to take care of one? Oh well everyone to their own I guess..

(aside from the quoted comment) I support the idea of the preggo shirt skins because if I were to actually get preggo irl, I'd like to have the skin on the avitar, other than that, I wouldn't really use it much.

Excuse me, if i dont want my avi to be pregnant then i dont have to have it like that. It seems like you need an attitude adjustment, and iam old enough, i guess i just have good gene's.

Always Accepting Friend Requests

Well, thankfully we would have the option to equip the item or not. I like the idea of a shirt/leveling item but I do not in any way support it having a shop of its own.

honestly i'd be fine with it just being a sticker item or two. then there would be only 9 colours ernya would have to do total per sticker item. it would shut up people like me, who want it. ...and sticker items arent that popular anyway so it wouldn't be too "in your face" for the people who are against it.

So I've read through this thread and I just want to put it all into perspective of how I read it in my eyes.

While there is nothing wrong with being pregnant, as it's a natural process, and everyone on this site is a product of it, there are some things I feel other users may think. If we are to have pregnant avatars, then why can't males have more muscley avatars? Guys might find it sexist, and I don't we want to give the impression that Ernya is female only, because we know it has both male and female audiences.

While a little bump might be easy to do, there are other body modifications that other people might start wanting such as an avatar with smaller breasts or maybe even those who might want larger ones. Some people might desire shorter, chibi-like avatars.

While I really like the idea and know there's a lot of mothers here that would appreciate it, I think it all just becomes a hassle of "politically correctness."

It might be an idea to have an item to have your avatar cradling a baby though, that might be an idea.

So, people can't have a bump for their belly because other people would ask for other mods? We already do have semi body mods on Ernya, I don't think we shouldn't add things on the site because people will ask for more of things.
Our avatars being short isn't possible, more body mods such as guys being more built-like and bigger breast is a do-able mod to do. Such a shirt that gives the breast a bigger look (in fact, we already have a few items that do that), or just an overall skin mod for abs or smth like that.
If people want to suggest that, it's completely fine, don't see what's wrong with people suggesting more items just because other item appears.

Hate is easy; Love takes courage.

It is the unknown we fear when we look upon death and darkness, nothing more.
misfit baby wrote:Yeah that would be cute :3 They could make a baby that could be female or male, and even different skins n__n
More avatar sites are becoming more acceptable with those type of items, as far as I know, there are about two avatars sites with similar items :3

Might be because older and older people are in these sites nowadays, they're not just kids sites anymore. And as the users grow up they want they're avatar to still be a reflex of themselves in some way, after all that's what an avatar is supposed to be.

Muahaha thanks to my over-active imagination + the empyrean gown top, and the white madri skirt, victory is mine!
(would still love a legit preggy top though :P)

I think this idea would make a neat leveling item. Stages of pregnancy/different shirts and then a baby at the end? Problem is, it probably wouldn't make much money overall.

Paper Airplanes (Makeshift Wings)

In my opinion I think it's pointless to have a Pregnant Avatar cause as Barbie said barely people will use it.
Plus the thought of it makes me wanna puke I don't know why. D: Lol.

And sorry Barbie but I don't get a lot of what you just said. o.o
Soo confusing! o:
