View topic - Never too old for Legos..

My mom sent me a parcel and in said parcel was a little box of Legos. It was an outdoor baking thing...complete with cake.
She usually gets someone to pick up a cake for me but this year my roomie was going to make one.
So she unintentionally sends me a Lego cake.
I nearly died. What an awesome coincidence..xD

Now I want more Legos...

Keep calm; and pull the arrow out of your knee.
Whenever I see legos, I gotta play with them.

You know you want me.

Legos are awesome, except for when your step on one!

Ooo..yeah..stepping on them is not fun at all.
I wish you could still buy those sets with a million pieces. They don't seem to have a lot of that out anymore. Like the forts you used to be able to buy.

Finally, a thread about LEGO made by someone other than me! xD

I love my LEGO to death <3
Boyfriend & I are planning on building a big LEGO Kingdom when we move in together

There are still some really big sets, but they're stupid-expensive, and themed.

There's the Medieval Market Village, 1,604 pieces.
The Millennium Falcon - one that's $180 and 1254 pieces, and an "ultimate" one that's 5,195 pieces and was $500
The Death Star - $500 and it's 3,803 pieces

We've got Cherry and Blueberry...
why is there no BLACKBERRY?!
My brother used to have a Lego city built in our living room. Only a couple of the things were mine...
Had fire/police department, grocery store, airport, post office, gas stations, houses, roads...
I'd say it was at least 8 feet long, haha.

Also have a news crew, van and helicopter

And a beach set, lol.
And I had a stable set, but some jerk stole the horse and rider.

My brother used to have a fort...and I loved it. My parents bought me one but they never gave it to me D;
One day I'll get my hands on it...

All of my cousins are grown up except for the two girls..and they aren't interested in Legos. x'D

I never had any specific buildings aside from the little pizza place. I do have a ton of bulk bricks, though. I recall attempting to build castles out of them several times.

From the sounds of things, my boyfriend used to have a ton of LEGO, but sold/gave it to his uncle, who has proceeded to build a huge castle xD

Irony - my boyfriend was telling me last night that when he was little he used to build guns and carry them around with him everywhere. But apparently he built things that'd go around his forearm and...I don't even know for sure, it just sounds fricken' adorable

I used to get little houses.
But we mostly had tons and tons of bricks. I made quite a few pyramids when I was younger...haha.

Irony:
That's probably what my boyfriend did, too.
Makes me really wish we'd known each other as little kids
Totally still would've been best friends xDDD

Keth:
I never thought about making a pyramid.
I probably would've tried to build a solid base for every level, though.
Would've run out of bricks so fast xD
