I'm all sad and stuff now...
There was this dog at the humane society that looked just like my sister's puppy and is obviously related to him.
Every day we've been checking the site to see if he's there; my boyfriend, sister, and her boyfriend went down there to meet him.
And today is my mine and my boyfriend's two year anniversary and I was just so set on maybe wanting to get him today...
But I went and checked the site a few minutes ago and he's gone.
I know it's good because now he has a home-he was a stray before.
But I just really wanted him, you know?

We don't know who got him...
The only option we have right now is to call the Humane Society and make sure he was adopted, instead of euthanized.

That's what my mom said.
But they're real asses, and I can't imagine they would take him off so long before they actually put him down...

We plan on calling as soon as they open tomorrow.
I didn't check the site today until after they were already closed.

I guess I'm just assuming he's been adopted since he was only there since January 29th...
But these are people that have put multiple dogs down the same day that they got them, even though the people that brought them in begged and pleaded to get them back.

Well my sister's puppy was from a litter she saved.
This guy's dog got knocked up by a stray, he mistreated them all, my sister asked him if she could take them and he said yes, then she found homes for all but one, which we kept.
But within a year all but two died from parvo...
Now my sister has hers and her boyfriend's neighbor has another.
But since my boyfriend and I moved out we've really been wanting a dog, and finding Cosmo-the dog at the Humane Society-was like a gift from above.
I mean, we just happened to be looking at the site because my mom saw a dog on TV she wanted, and then right there he was in all of his adorableness.
Like, what are the odds that we would see him up there, you know?

Yeah...
But in all fairness we did have plenty of time.
My mom just refused to allow us to pay $150 for a dog that one of the volunteers had found.
He was also already neutered...

After a while I started to realize the backyard at our duplex wouldn't be too great for him, especially with the stray cats that like to sneak into our basement...
But then they somehow disappeared and I was like okay, if we get either the $50 from the doctors back or our pain and suffering money from the accident we'll take that as a sign and go get him, but that hasn't happened yet.

Yeah, but with neither of us having jobs it would have been really difficult...

And after having seen Cosmo I just can't imagine getting any other dog, now.
My sister's puppy is the reason I even started to like dogs, and having that option of getting to have a dog that looked so much like him just felt so surreal.
