I'd heard nothing but good things about this game, so when I saw it at a thrift store I was all, "Hells yes I am buying it!"

Starting out I was not impressed with it, sure it was pretty and the monsters were neat but the controls confounded me (until I read the instruction booklet).

Now that I am several quests into the game I am enjoying it MUCH more. However everyone I have talked to says the game is infinitely better when played with a group online. I wish I could do that because I love playing games with other people!

Unfortunately I don't have a voice chat adapter and I don't know anyone who has the game who can get it online. Woe is me, eh?

Anyway has anyoe else played this game and if so what are your thoughts on it?

I hate the Bowgun things... sooo hard to aim.... maybe if I practiced with one... but for now my switch axe is love. <33

ahh. that Bowgun is killing me too,even the Heavy Bowgun,it makes me killed all the time that is why i choose the Long Sword,i hate Great Sword too.,hahaha.I hate Tigrex and Rathalos.

I just unlocked the ability to forge long swords. And I am slowly trying to get a decent armor set made before I go after Lagiacrus (or however it is spelled).

Aaand I have a new switch axe which looks pretty awesome IMO. I don't remmeber what it is called however. xD

I've tried battling a Rathalia (or whatever) and she kicked my butt... stupid Qurupeco summoning it when I try to catch the noisy bird...

My best friend had this game and loved it. I've never played it, but yeah. I hear it's a great Wii game. Probably one of the favorites

Im playing this game in PSP,and its so awesome,using Long Sword with sexy armor and along with my bestfriends,which are boys and me played it,haha.

I googled it and it looks pretty intense with all the dinosaur/dragon looking monsters ._>

It can be intense, the first time I went against a Royal Ludroth I died soooo fast. xD

I hate Royal Ludroth the first time too,hihi
now he's my practice partner.
