March User Item Contest Entries
March theme: Spring
As we started the contest a bit late this month, you will have 10 extra days to enter. The entries will no longer be accepted on April 10th at 9pm PST (April 11th 12am EST).
However the April contest will start on the first of April and in consequent overlap on this contest.
The theme this month is spring. It can be anything related to spring. Contemporary, fantasy, casual, anything as long as it respects the rules.
Your entry will be judged on the creativity not the realization.
If you have any question please ask so in the Monthly user item contest thread, as this thread is for entries purposes.
Reminder of the rules:
- No Art theft.
- All of the entries have to be your original work. No photo, photomanipulation or rip of existing items. No items from anime either as they are not your work and are copyrighted.
- You are allowed up to three entries (one item per entry). It can be all in the same post, or in three different posts.
It is an item contest, not an outfit contest. It means one item is equal to one entry.
- No pm. All of the entries have to be posted in this thread.
- Your entries must be posted no later than midnight EST on the last day of the month.
- The entries become property of Ernya, and you authorize Ernya to use any of your designs at its own discretion at any time. If you do not agree, do not post any entries and do not participate to this contest.
- Follow the Rules and ToS.
Entries won't be accepted anymore and the thread will be locked on the 10th of April at 9pm PST.

I got inspired by my tree in the front yard when resembles a Cherry blossom tree.

i don't have a scanner so i had to take a picture of my entry ^^;;

I had to take a picture of it so it's not the best quality and it looks pretty dark. I posted the colored and uncolored version because I'm not sure which shows of the item best.
The idea is that winter is melting away while spring is blooming through. It would be a background item.
Now I'm gonna see if I can think of something else too

My second entry. I had a couple other color palets for this but I liked this one best, so here we go ^.^
edit: I added the other color palets up here. I asked a friend about it and she liked the second one best so I figured I might as well post all three up. Same item differnt shades.
