LURKERS SAY WHAT?


Welcome to the Lurker Friendly thread~!

My goal here is to draw some of you silent types out of your shells, and to have a general good time. n.n

Here's how it works!

We'll start off with a few topics of discussion. Tell us, why are you a lurker? Where do you lurk? Are you in league with other lurkers in some grand plot to lurk the internet?

Next, we have a game!

The game is called 'Say WHAT?'. It's very simple. I will post one of two things. LURKERSAYWHAT?, in which case, anyone that hasn't posted on the current or previous page must quote my post and the first 'lurker' to quote it wins a small prize. The other thing I might post is POSTERSAYWHAT? in which case to win you must have posted on the current or previous page to be able to win a prize,and you must be the first person to quote my post.

Here's the catch, and where it gets tricky! ANYONE can post either LURKERSAYWHAT or POSTERSAYWHAT, however, if anyone quotes anyone but me, they have to pay a penalty of 30g to whoever they ended up quoting. This makes the game just a bit more challenging.

So if I post LURKERSAYWHAT and ANN quotes it first, ANN wins a prize. But JOE posts LUKERSAYWHAT, and ANN quotes it, ANN send JOE 30g because she was fooled.


I will also be doing small page prizes:

Winners of either the game, or page prizes will receive random things from chibi art to presents to pure, or even the occasional CI, so let's get started!

Kitty- Hey there, welcome to the thread. n.n It can be hard finding the right thing to say sometimes, and it's always hard to enter mid conversation. I try asking people what's going on, or how they are, or if they have plans for whatever weekend or holiday is coming up. I've never been shy. XD

So are you enjoying the event so far?

I tend to lurk mainly when I'm tired, or when the thread's moving too fast for me to keep up.


Kitty- You mean the big ones, or the little ones? I haven't gotten a single big one, but the little ones add up slowly if I post enough. I just bought the items from the big green boxes. xD

They aren't too bad Kitty, you get two red boxes for every green box. I have 66green and 128red right now, and I've yet to buy anything. I'm after the candycane first.

Reasons that I am a lurker...I tend to be a lurker when I can't keep up with a thread or if I'm not sure that I want to post something or not. Or if I'm very talkative at the moment. I try not to be a lurker, but most of the time I can't help it...
