I guess I have to stay on top of dishes and never let dirty ones sit in the sink (whenever she does dishes there will still be huge chunks of food on them...) and be better about hiding all my dirty laundry from her....

Why is she so stupid. Honestly I think she must have some sort of dementia.
She probably thinks she's being helpful, then forgets about it.
Keep you dirty laundry in your room. She doesn't go into your bedroom does she?

She doesn't come upstairs, so I usually keep my laundry up here. But sometimes I have a lot, so I take it down to get it out of the way even if I am not going to do it right away. I mean, I do laundry all the time, so it's not like I get majorly backed up with a ton of clothes. But my partner's cat has been peeing on his bed a lot lately, so I have had a ton of blankets to wash! So when I bring stuff like that down but am not washing it all right then, I have been putting it around this little closet corner thing so that she can't see it!

I am sooo close to being done with Bed Bugs. I will probably finish it today.

Just finished Bed Bugs. It was pretty good. Kind of a creepy book, which isn't usually my style, but I liked it.

The Lamplighter is GREAT!!!!
It was nothing I expected it to be.
I thought it was a simple who done it and it turned out to
be suspensfull, dark, creepy!!!!
It should be an interesting discussion.

I hate the event items =(
and if there is a Phase 2 I'm out of it.

I just gave you chocolate =)

I didn't even really look at the event items. I am just so not in the mood to grind right now. I might just sit this event out altogether. We'll see how I feel in a couple of days.

I am still working on Shadow Bound, and it's still pretty lame.

I give a book 50 pages if its under 300 pages
and 100 pages if its over 300. If by then I don't like it or don't care what happens to the characters then I stop reading.

So I finished The Lamplighter and it got weird but it was good. Like the first half was hard to get into, then the second half was really good.

Oh and today I finished 2 books, read a short story by Ray Bradbury
and 50+ pages of The Sparrow.

I usually don't usually read science fiction, but sometimes if its not too technical I really like the view of the future and how society will change in that author's imagination.

I read a book called Nature's End which I have actually read twice and I remembered being fascinated by the future.

Sounds like you're on a roll today! I just did a few more pages of Shadow Bound.

I am on a roll!!!!
I even read 30 minutes after dinner.
My book total was pitiful for 2011 I don't want that to happen again!

My book total was good for 2011, but I am not so sure about 2012! I'm off to a slow start.

I'm actually at the same point as I was last year!
So I have to keep it up.

I think this time last year is about when I was taking forever to read the second Golden Compass book and feeling like I had a bad case of SAD. So I might still be able to pull through and do all right this year too. I am almost halfway through Shadow Bound.

I remember that.
and last winter we had really bad weather everyday.
I remember lots of snow and I was quite SAD myself!

This winter has been better.
