Leveling Item Guide

Getting Started.
In order to get started with your Leveling Item, you will have to go to Chloe's Shop and purchase your leveling item.
Once you bought your item, go to your inventory.
You will find a box under your avatar, this is how it looks like.

All you have to do and drag and drop your leveling item into the box. Make sure to drag it into the available slot.

By default you can only level one item at a time. If you wish to level several items at a time, you will have to purchase the Level Expansion Pack available at Chloe's Shop and keep it in your inventory at all times.
The Level Expansion Pack allows you to level up to 3 items at the same time.

If you do own the Level Expansion Pack, the other slots will become available, allowing you to grad and drop another item inside of the box.

How to level my item?
Once your item has been dragged into the box, every post that you make from now on will count towards your item.
Your item will gain levels after a certain amount of posts and for each level your item will be gaining a new pose!

How many posts do I have to make for each level?
The amount of posts and difficulty vary depending on the level.
You can find the requirement for each level below:
-lvl1 to lvl2: 80posts (total of 80 posts)
-lvl2 to lvl3: 100 posts (total of 180 posts)
-lvl3 to lvl4: 150 posts (total of 330 posts)
-lvl4 to lvl5: 200 posts (total of 530 posts)
At 530 posts, you need to complete Chloe's quest in order to fully level your item.

How do I know if my item leveled?
A level up animation will appear on your screen each time your item levels up.
Each time your item level up, the preview will indicate its current level.
You also have the ability to check how many posts your item has, by going into your inventory, and hovering on the said item inside of the leveling box. Some information will appear under your box letting you know how many posts the item has.

How to fully level my item?
When your item reaches 530 posts at level 4, you will have to complete a quest for the item to fully level up.
Chloe is the one who will help you with this task. When one of your item reaches 530 posts, goes to Chloe's Shop, a quest will be available for you.
Click on the button "Talk to Chloe" over Chloe's body.

She will ask you to bring 5 leveling stones in order to fully level your item.
You will find leveling stones by posting on the forums at all times, and any members can find Leveling Stones. They are quite rare, although you should be able to collect enough by the time you need them for the quest.
This is how they look like.

Once you have 5 leveling stones, talk to Chloe again and click on "Complete the quest".
Your last leveling animation should appear, now you can then head to your inventory and drag your item out of the leveling box.
Congratulations, your item has now reached its max level!

What about if several of my items reach 530 posts at the same time?
You will have to go complete Chloe's quest as many times as you have items to level.
Chloe will automatically level the item located on the very first slot of your leveling box.

I want to equip my item, how do I do?
In order to equip your item, you will have to click it out of the leveling box. Once your item is back into your inventory, simply click on it like any other item.
Note: Your item cannot benefit any of your post while it's equipped on your avatar, as it needs to be inside of the leveling box in order to do so.

Can I trade my Leveling Item even if it isn't fully leveled yet?
Yes you can trade your leveling item at any time.
To do so, simply click it out of your leveling box. You will be able to see how many posts your item has by hovering over it with your mouse.
Then simply go to your trade tab, and trade your item like you would do with any other item. Your leveling item will keep the integrity of its posts, and the amount of posts will be carried over.

What happens if I trade my Level Expansion Pack?
If you do only own one Level Expansion Pack, and you happen to trade it, you will not be able to level three items at a time anymore.
If you do have 3 items inside of your leveling box at the time you trade your Level Expansion Pack, only the first item located on the first slot will benefit from your posts.

My item won't fully level up, what to do?
You need to make sure you completed your quest in order for your item to fully level up.

Do spells work on Leveling Items?
Yes, spells work on Leveling Items, like on any other DI/CI.

You don't have to equip the expansion pack, you simply need to have one in your inventory.

you you not equip the item while you are leveling it? i put mine in the slot and as soon as i did it moved it out of my inventory.
