Has anyone noticed that Spells CAN'T be used on NPC items but yet you can for the oliver items? and that spells CAN'T work on LI's aside from the Husky and ones after that?
It just makes me wonder if the previous NPC/LI's will be able to be used with Spells in the future. If not i understand but it just randomly popped into my head.
Oliver items were dual posed and only available for hearts.
The other npc items were all available for gold and nothing else.
The only heart item out of the first npc set was the hair, and you can change hair color.
Also I think the first npc set came out before the spells did.
♥The way I think it works is this:
anything sold in the donation shop will have the spell option regardless of what type of item it is.
Just what I noticed. >u>
Alexia- In most cases that is true. The only items that do not follow that rule are.
Winter Wonderland Wear, Crystal the Snowflake, Ice Skate Diva, and Fawn Deer.
The reason is that those items were available for gold (eg. winter wonderland wear, winter contest items etc.)
Whereas the other items (eg. sylfee, nico etc.) were available for hearts
So i believe only the items available for hearts were given the option for recolors which means that the other items were never supposed to get recolored.
Most of the wearable NPC items came out, they had hit the item shops of the commons. They were never available for hearts in the first place. Same reason the Winter and Easter Contest items aren't spellable as well.
As others have said the npc items were sold for gold same with a few other items. As ladybug has stated perhaps with volunteers it will open up a new window for recoloring : )
