I'm closing my art request thread for now n___n there's a few people I'm waiting for art on, but attention to those of you I'm waiting on: I'm planning to make an art contest. If you would rather enter that for a chance at a much bigger prize, feel free to let me know. The art contest will have a wider range of subjects to draw!

Hi everyone! I'm here to request art of my very own Pokemon OC! If you plan to offer art, please be sure to read EVERY post!

If you offer art, please indicate what you are willing to draw. Be it just Emily (minimum payment) or Emily with all of her Pokemon (maximum payment) or anything inbetween. Please also let me know if you plan to do headshots, bust shots, or full body pieces.



I have 200k in funds right now!

All I ask is for you to post a few samples of your art, a time frame for how long it may take to complete, and a price range for us to settle on. The higher quality of your work, the more money I will be willing to throw at you to do it, so be sure to post your best art! Also, please tell me what you will be most comfortable drawing. I understand everyone has their own wills and won'ts, and I don't want anyone to get into something they're not sure they can complete or if they're not sure it will turn out the way I'm expecting it to.

Rules:
1. I love buying from a friendly person. While chatting is not required for a sale, coming in and telling me how well the art is going would be nice. I'm a very good tipper and I am more likely to tip if I like you <3

2. Leave your temper at the door. If you want 15k for your work and I'm saying I'll only pay 10k, don't blow up at me. Haggling is part of business. Hey, if you stick around and chat, you may get even more than what you were expecting!

3. Do NOT make fun of other people's art. "You paid WHAT for that?" "That looks terrible!" These kinds of comments will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave and will never get a sale from me.

4. I have the right to say, "No thanks, I'm not interested in buying art from you."

Emily is from Olivine City, a seaside community famous for its ancient lighthouse and port. Emily spent a lot of time at the beach before her Pokemon journey and always feels at home when near the sea. A legend floats around Olivine about a legendary pokemon named Dragonite, which guards the lighthouse and guides lost sailors and pokemon trainers to the port. Emily always kept the legend at heart and, of course, was ecstatic when she received a dratini (the pre-evolution of dragonite) in Blackthorn City.

Base trait: adventurous. Emily loves excitement, sand so she constantly pushes forward and lives in the moment.
Supportive trait: impulsive. While she does have plans, Emily is able to take action without too much thought.
Fatal trait: naive. She prides herself on knowledge of pokemon, but when it comes to social situations, Emily can be easily led on. This also tends to get her into trouble.
Hidden trait: tender heart. Being so bent on having strength, Emily fights her sensitive side. Sometimes, however, her mother's caretaker genes show through, especially when someone or something is being treated without the respect and love it deserves.


Emily is the child of a sailor, Jack, and a nurse, Elune. As a young child Emily enjoyed going out to sea with her father and using a sketchbook to document all of the different kinds of pokemon, plants, and knowledge of the sea and its habits.
During a war with Unova, Emily's father was killed in battle. Emily carries around his sketchbook and leather travel bag on her Pokemon journey. Before entering the Pokemon League, Emily's mother gives her her father's sailor ascot and medal of honor to wear as a headband.

When it comes to clothing, Emily wears comfortable clothes. She wears a loose long sleeve shirt with the Pokemon League symbol on it (a gothic letter "P" surrounded by laurel), a dark blue one-piece swimsuit underneath that ties behind her neck, a pair of plain jean shorts, and comfy blue sneakers. She carries around a brown leather travel bag in which she keeps all of her things.

Emily's Pokemon
1. Pikachu (F)

Pikachu is Emily's starter pokemon. She has a rash nature and is highly curious. Her favorite food is apples. She hates the water, which is ironic because not only is she strong against water-type pokemon (because she is electric), but also because Emily LOVES the water!

Pikachus are the size of fat house cats. When drawing Pikachu, please do not forget the cleft in her tail. This is the gender difference between female and male pikachus! She is also pretty fuzzy as far as pikachus go, so don't be afraid to add a little fluff!

2. Arcanine (M)

Emily met Arcanine when he was only a little growlithe (the pre-evolution of arcanines). He has a brave nature and is alert to sounds. Because he is so big, he gets nervous being around small animals and children, afraid they will get underfoot. So instead, should something small and less powerful approach him, he does not move his feet!

Arcanines are HUGE pokemon. They are very heavy and are the size of a modern horse, so please don't draw him the size of a regular dog! Emily's arcanine in particular has a long coat, whereas many arcanines have dense, spiky coats.

3. Cubone (F)

Cubone was given to Emily by a girl in Goldenrod City's National Park. Cubone has an impish nature and is strongly defiant. Cubone hardly ever listens to Emily, though does care deeply for her since Emily has saved her life more than once.

Cubones are the size of average human babies. They have very short, dense fur and wear the skulls of their mothers on their heads as a helmet. Every cubone carries around a bone as a club. Emily's cubone in particular is extremely attached to her bone and panics when it is misplaced.

As a small child (6 years old) Emily rescued Seel from the sandbar near Olivine City. Seel was suffering from severe poisoning and deep wounds. Seel joined Emily's team shortly after obtaining Cubone. Seel has a gentle nature and is strong willed. She loves the cold. Her favorite food is magikarp.

Emily's seel is just light enough for her to carry. (of course Seel was much smaller when Emily rescued her years back!) She is big enough for Emily to hold onto while swimming. When drawing seel, please use the reference in this post, NOT the version in the anime/game.

5. Dragonite (M)

Dragonite is the last of Emily's pokemon. He was a gift in Blackthorn City, but when Emily obtained him he was a very small, very weak dratini. As a small child, Emily always dreamed of having a dragonite, the pokemon of legend that guarded Olivine City's lighthouse and led lost sailors home. Through diligent training, Dragonite became one of her strongest pokemon! Dragonite has an adamant nature and likes to fight. He can fly, create earthquakes, and manipulate lightening.

Dragonites are huge. They tower over full grown men and have big, strong wings. They have yellow-orange scales. Emily often flies on her dragonite's back. When drawing Dragonite, please use the reference in this post, NOT the version in the anime/game.

I did have my base prices here, but it was long and boring :< so just tell me what you expect to be paid, what you plan to draw, and we'll go from there.
