I heard in another thread where another language was spoken (a Japanese hangout) that they had asked a mod about whether they could speak Japanese in their thread or if they would have to stick to English. They had been told that it was okay for they asked but they would have to translate what they say too so that others (staff mostly) could all understand them. They didn't have to put the English translation visible though even it was needed in their posts, since they were allowed to whiten the translation part.

Don't take it so personal. It's not an offence to you as a person, but a safety thing more of. It's best for everyone that the staff can keep up with what people are talking and what kind of language they're using so that they can keep all the rule breakers away and let people enjoy their conversations around in general. And since everyone around understands English enough but not many other languages, English is the best choise to be used. You can use your birth language everywhere around in real life, so it can't be so bad to use English online in a global site. Besides, think it this way: by having to use English here you learn more of it and can practise it nicely. So it's a benefit in a way to keep it English.

But translators or not, it's still practise.
And it's not that your language is bad, it's just not so commonly used globally that people around could have full conversations with you using that here.
If people all could use their birth language here then it'd be a chaos since only a couple if even any persons would understand what they say and nothing would turn up well in a chaos. Also it'd be rare to find those exact persons who would understand you in your own language in that case. And if some people were allowed this priviledge but others not then it'd be bad too since it could create protesting of the sort like 'why they can but not me, unfair, racist' etc. So it's best to keep everyone on the same page with language using.
Anyway. Let's change for a happier subject? Like, what did you have for lunch today? I had macaroni and corn.

with the last thing I ate now put one delisi ammm mixed chicken and beef teriyaki
and when I get to my house ate some delicious chicken wings with spicy chili or ajaj
and a rich cup of horchata water
cinnamon rice water that is the horchata
then they put the recipe
