My inventory starts with nametags (old to new), Monthly Items (old to new), Coin Items (old to new), Special Edition Items, Leveling Items, Sticker Items, Spells, Summer Event Items 09, Pirate Event Items 09, Halloween Event Items 09, Christmas Event Items 09, Valentine's Day Event Items '10, St Patty's Items '10, Some miscellaneous pirate and halloween event items not sure if it's '10 or '11 since I missed both, then Marble Items (old to new), and finally commons arranged in no particular order except the ones I prefer come first (only have about 45 commons out of a 5 page inventory.)

There is only one way to organize my inventory:
1st is the Tags: They are in alphabetical order
2nd is the wearables: They are in Alphabetical order
3rd is the Spells: They are in Alphabetical order
4th is the leveling items: Level Expansion and then the Stones.
I am an alphabetical nut when it comes to sorting stuff.

I organise mine like so..
-> First up comes the random current event stuff, or occasionally a few recently bought commons that I have yet to place.
-> Next comes up all the spells in order of release.
-> Since they were released I put Name Tags after Spells, in order (I include event name tags here rather than later for easy compare/finding.
-> Now we have the Levelling Items.
-> Gets all a bit confused here, but I have next a bunch of rarer CIs.
-> DIs, not in complete order, but in places they are!
-> Limited Items.
-> Sticker Items.
-> Cheap CIs.
-> Event Items, I order them by holiday rather than release, helps when going for themes!
-> Commons, ordered from Top>Bottom and in a colour order of my own invention!
-> Marble Items by type, ie, mood bubbles, random hand helds, accessories, hair&scars, eyes, mouths, feet marbles, anything else!

Right now my sorting is a mess...any item with multiple poses goes first...then I have dresses, coats/vests, corsets, tops, skirts, shorts, pants, socks, boots, other shoes, hats, hair accessories, jewelry, hand held items, feet items, background stuff and then name tags

Here's how I did mine from bottom to top/right to left:
Slippies, shoes, toe socks and stockings, scarfs,
spells (in order of color; reds/pinks/blues/greens/ect from light to dark),
gloves, bows, confetti, wigs, gown accessories, gowns, dressies,
mini skirt dressies, mini skirts, shorter mini skirts,
purses, pants, shorts, t-shirts, long sleeved shirts,
light jackets, sweaters, hoodies, tube tops with long sleeves,
tube tops, undies and corsets, aprons, coats, heavy coats,
mantles, cloaks, canes, umbrellas, mini tilted hats, crowns,
moons, stars, hair pins, earrings, necklaces, belts,
floppy tilted hats, top hats, pointed hats, party pointed hats,
caps, random things that sit on you's head, backpacks,
baskets, body accessories, body bases, body head things,
glasses, masks, tattoos, facial hairs, eye makeup, mouths,
nosey things, blush, eyes, weapons, music, watery things,
floors, ground, nature, foods, pets, dolls, wood, boxes,
weird floaty things D:, handhelds, balloons
and and and
LAST BUT NOT LEAST >8U!

Reworked my invo since my last post, so now I can finally talk about what I've done to organize! XD
If an event is going on, I have any items relating to that event (currency AND event items) first.
Next, I have marble items from the first marble. The reason for having these and the EIs/currency first is to keep an eye on them in case I want to sell them.
I have my pitiful name tag collection after that, followed by DIs (in no particular order, although newer ones/ones I like more usually come first), leveling items, coin items (in no particular order but like with the DIs, ones I like and newer ones are first).
My spells come next (arranged in something of a rainbow). Limited items come after those, and then sticker items (arranged by where they go on the avi-head/hair items ---> shoes/accessories).
My insane collection of EIs is arranged by newest event set to oldest event set.
Then I've got old marble items and all of my commons (arranged in the same fashion as my sticker items.)
