The "big deal" is that, if voted for, she will pass legislation against these people she incorrectly deems mentally dysfunctional, violating their constitutional rights even more than we already do in American society.
If someone deemed you mentally dysfunctional, and then forced you to become sterilized and live in a mental hospital with no chance of release for the rest of your life, then "knowing better" isn't much of a consolation. That has happened in OUR COUNTRY before. I guess my issue is that with people like that in power, it can and will happen again.

I have never taken anything Bachmann said seriously.
Between Michele Bachmann and homosexuals, she is obviously the more mentally dysfunctional, and clearly not up to date with the fact that homosexuality was already taken out of the DSM IV.
My guess? She needed voters, and she was hoping to grab those who hate homosexuals.
But it doesn't matter now. "God's plan" told her to drop out of the race. God's plan, and thousands upon thousands of voters.

I always saw Bachmann as the sensationalist of the Republican candidates. She's the one that's purposefully trying to get everyone's panties in a bunch. She had to know she would never, ever actually get the Republican ticket so is trying to milk the spotlight for all it's worth. I just don't even give her the time of day, most of the conservative Christians I talk to in Texas don't either which speaks leaps and bounds I think.

Michelle Bachman is a nutcase and her words should be taken with less than a grain of salt.
Yeah, She won't make it into anything. There are too many people that looked at said the SAME thing you did.
