Hey everyone,

From all of us here at Ernya, we wish you a happy new year 2012!

We hope you enjoyed your year 2011 at Ernya, and the features and enhancements that came with it.

Usually this is the part where we summarize the year, but since it's redundant to explain what's already here, we thought it would be best to give you a preview of whats to come in 2012!

We all heard about the marketplace many times for the past 2 years. It is awesome, and is totally worth the wait. Expect many cool extras to come along with it as well!
We can already tell you that it's going to please both exchangers and non exchangers.
We are impatient to get this ready for you as soon as possible.

Let's talk about games. We so wish we could have had more ready for you last year but due to the incompatibility and unreliability of artists and programmers this obviously was a fail and takes much longer than we expected.
However, we are working on the issue and it's coming along pretty nicely.
For all of you who like to play games, and earn gold other than posting, you are really going to enjoy this. We will have new games, as well as an entire redesign of the games section, fun game boards with rankings, and cute background music that you can mute!

For those of you speculating about the banner/theme, you were right and the winter theme was only the beginning! We are going to have seasonal themes, so expect new banners for Spring, Summer and Falls.

Many other user's suggested features are being taken into consideration for 2012!
We are going to have a gift system with anonymous and non anonymous options! It will come with logs for those of you worried about potential account hacking.
We are also going to have a ping system, so that you can easily keep track of any replies directed at you.

Some other features and surprises are planned, but we can't reveal everything, and I'm sure it's nice for you guys to keep some suspense.

It's more fun to have your friends with you, and right now talking them into giving Ernya a try might be hard because it is still underground.
We are going to advertise more this year, and we hope that more people get involved and that we can appeal to a wider range of audience. This will be our big picture goal this year, so that we are not only an avatar site, but more of a diverse community.

We hope that you guys are excited as much as we are about our 2012 goals.
Just remember one thing, Ernya is just a name, but you guys ARE Ernya and you are the ones who make everything possible.
Don't underestimate the power of a single voice, because each and everyone of you can make a difference by being more active, involved and by spreading the word!
