I honestly feel that way too, I am just not certain how to fix it. Maybe when I color it I can fix it somehow.
I think it's because her shoulders and arms are so slender, but her midsection seems thick in proportion...? Because if you cover her from the elbows down she looks like she'd be a bit thinner than she is when you look at the whole picture.
Okay I will work on that! I am so frustrated right now. There is another drawing I am working on that I'd like to get help on, but I used stock on DA and the stock artist requires that you ask and receive permission before posting it on outside sites. They haven't gotten back to me yet.
Don't get bogged down on it yet! It's a very interesting concept, I like where you're going with the idea of the flames and her outfit.

They're coming out great so far.
The only thing wrong with them, is that the hands are a tad too small.
Usually, the hands are about as long, or only slightly shorter than the length of the face from the hairline to the chin...
They're not bad, though.
Hands are a pain in the kiester to draw, and they came out splendidly...just a little bit too small.
The rest of the picture-on all of them I've noticed-looks very nice.
