Rules and Guidelines for the General Discussion Forum

- Do not post inappropriate material
- Do not quote more than three times!
- Do not spam.
- Do not troll (aka post topics for the sole purpose of making others upset, angry, etc.).
- No "best/worst users" threads.
- No duplicate threads.
- No picdropping (aka making a thread for the purpose of posting another user's picture/signature picture).
- The thread must have a subject of which is able for discussion. A spam/namedrop topic that has side/irrelevant discussion does not count.
- Namedropping is allowed as long as there is a good point to the topic at hand. (things like "lol ______ is so rad" are not)
- Do not necro threads- meaning, if the last post is really old, DON'T POST IN THE THREAD.

The general discussion forum is for general DISCUSSIONS, please keep this in mind before you post

“I’m Bored” threads are spam
just random threads with no discussion are spam
a few words then writing under it “discuss ....” are spam

extended discussion or discussions on life issues belong in their own forums. things like death and suicide belong in the life issues forum, please keep this in mind before you post.

also look through threads that have been posted to make sure the thread you are posting hasn’t been posted already, a tiny difference does not make it any less a repeat topic.

AND

Make sure you are posting in the correct Forum, for example “what’s your fav movie/music” etc belongs in the Media discussion forum not General discussion.

You may wonder why this has been posted, i apologize anyone finds this offensive in anyway, it is due to more and more spam/non discussion topics coming up and i would hate for us to have to get stricter because people take advantage of our softness.

and PLEASE PLEASE read the forum rules, they aren’t a huge block of text, Xia wrote them out very clearly and straightforward, there is no excuse to not read them!
