The theme this month is Mythology. Anything mythological will be accepted. The top3 winners will get their design made into a coin item for the April coin release.
Your entry will be judged on the creativity not the realization.

Reminder of the rules:
- No Art theft.
- All of the entries have to be your original work. No photo, photomanipulation or rip off existing items. No items from anime either as they are not your work and are copyrighted.
- You are allowed up to three entries (one item per entry) main and mules included. It can be all in the same post, or in three different posts.
It is an item contest, not an outfit contest. It means one item is equal to one entry.
- No pm. All of the entries have to be posted in this thread.
- Your entries must be posted no later than midnight EST on the last day of the month.
- The entries become property of Ernya, and you authorize Ernya to use any of your designs at its own discretion at any time. If you do not agree, do not post any entries and do not participate to this contest.
- Follow the Rules and ToS.

The first design (pink) is Aphros, which comes from Greek mythology. Aphros has been said to be the root meaning 'foam' which is fitting for Aphrodite's name as she was said to be born from the foam. Aphrodite is the Goddess and Love and other things so thus the coloring is pink. Apparently, scallop shells are one of her many symbols, so that would be the bust part of the dress. Since Aphrodite is also the Goddess of Beauty and Sexuality, this dress is (attempting) to be more seductive with the sheer white cloth that covers the body and the open slits under the shells. opaque pink scale-like stuff covers the privates since the cloth is sheer. At about the knees, the sheer white cloth fades in to a fluffier, bubble-like opaque 'foam' which just covers her feet.
The second design is the Morrigan, which comes from Norse or Irish mythology, I believe. She is the Goddess of battle, strife, and fertility and is sometimes seen as a crow (which appears to be the first sumbol people connect Morrigan with). Thus, this design is a cloak with the hood as a crow head with beak and red eyes and the actually covering part of the cloak as the wings of a crow. The ends of the cloak are longer than the back like the tips of wing feathers are longer than the feathers closer to the joint. The back would look sort of like an upside-down 'V'. The hood creates a deep shadow that would mask the eyes of the wearer.

The Selkie is a creature of Scottish Mythology. They are in essence shape shifters, who at maturity take the form of seals and return to their home in the sea. Selkie's can take human for again, but to do so they must shed their pelt. If a Selkie's pelt is stolen they can never return to their seal form or the sea as their pelt is what allows them to change back to their animal form.
Selkies of myth were often grey and brown in color. Dark grey at the head, gradually fading into brown as ones eyes would travel down the body. Thier spots would be lighter at the top, and darker at the bottom, the spots became less noticeable as a young ones body matured into adult hood.

Pegasus is the winged, divine, horse of myth. He was fathered by Poseidon and born of the gorgon Medusa when she was beheaded by Perseus.

Medusa is one of the three Gorgon sisters of Myth. Gazing directly upon her would turn a man to stone, and only by cutting off her head was Perseus able to kill her, where after he used her head as a weapon until he gifted it to the goddess Athena to place on her shield. Medusa's hair was not actual hair as she had a plethora of snakes in it's place.

I know that the rules state that one item = one entry, which means that one pose = one entry as well; however, since the winning designs will become future CIs, are we allowed to have more than one pose for the same item this time around, since CIs have multiple poses? And if so, up to how many poses are we allowed to enter per item?
