im new here :/ but it seems like alot of ppl here are gaia haters! why?

Yup, there are a lot of trolls in the forums, cybering in the towns/VJ, some begging(I don't remember seeing any myself... Nevermind), glitches/bugs, bad changes, and all that.
Yet, there are the good aspects like some really crazy'n'awesome people. Along with some funny trols, seriously there are some funny ones. Then there are the cool items, roleplaying(although that seems dead right now), games, easy gold, and the fact that gaia has towns/VJ. There are even comics, and tons of little things to do around gaia.
Usually, I like hanging around because I like being cantankerous with some jerks that I might find...(Even if I get a bit confused at times.) And I also like the people that I chat with at times, even if I may have a debate in hand, or I'm the one talking sense into people(or trying)...
I don't like being there because the wait for responses can be grueling, and some people are just too problematic for my tastes...

This. Sadly that seems to happen to a lot of sites though once they become huge sites. Think it is just a slice of real life for yah but I have no real beef against Gaia.
Honestly, I love they way they put the clothes... But yeah, I hate when they cybering in town or others people house.. That's so annoying!!! 
I joined Gaia in 2004 and I don't think I ever really liked it in the whole time I was active. I liked SOME of the people, avatars and the guilds feature. But as I said to begin with, I can't say that I really liked Gaia. :/

As it's been mentioned again and again, there are just too many trolls on Gaia anymore. I joined Gaia early 2004 but wasn't really active until about a year later (lack of interwebs).
I'd like to say it was a lot better back then, but that would be stretching it, in my opinion. There were trolls then, just not as many. Also, there really isn't anyway to get rid of the trolls. Yeah, you can report their account until it's banned, but they just make a new one and troll harder than they had been.
Also, artificial inflation is a pain in the arse.
I do feel the need to mention that if you go to the right places, you can have a good amount of fun, and that I did meet some very nice people there. You just need to weed through the idiots to find them.

Gaia is over run with annoying beggers and users who don't know any common sense. They're generally immature and childish and complain when things don't go their way. They use a ton of real life money to get what they want and ruin the game for others.
I like Gaia, just not enough for it to be my main forum site.

The only reason I go on there anymore is for zOMG. I've met some really friends from there that I love playing with. =)
