I've noticed recently that the Feedback forum is cluttered with requests for new features, item poses, and updates.
In the Feedback forum, there are requests for CI hints, upgrades for coin rates, four item pose requests, a new color request, and a request for greater game output.
I'm not attacking anyone, but I feel like we're overworking Ernya. Personally, I would like a pose for the Skunk to be just the tail that shows up in one of the poses, but I don't want to post it in the Feedback forum, because I feel that the pixelers did what they did, and I'm going to live with it.
Do you think we've been spoiled?
Or do you think that there's nothing wrong with sharing our ideas?

I don't think there's anything wrong with sharing ideas, nor do I get the "spoiled" vibe from the community. People feel safe giving feedback here. If, on the other hand, I saw posts DEMANDING new items, etc. then I'd understand the "spoiled" thing. But as it stands, I don't really see it.
i feel we do ask too much at times, but the great thing about this place is that ernya always listens to our feedback and suggestions because she wants to make this the best place it can be. hopefully she knows that she doesn't have to do any of this if she's too tired or doesn't have the time, or simply doesn't want to, no matter how many of us band together and ask for it. we will understand. she has a life outside this place too.
I don't think the community is spoiled. It's the feedback forum, and that's where people are putting their feedback. Now, if people in the Babblesphere and perhaps even here were demanding new items/poses/colors and such, then yes, I'd say we were spoiled. But as of right now? No, I think it's just creative people sharing their ideas to help make Ernya a better place.

I don't think there's anything spoiled about suggesting ways to improve our experience of the site, and in turn, the experiences of others. All we really do in the feedback forum is say something about how a feature, item, or the site as a whole could be improved, and others express opinions for or against it. There have been a lot of times when feedback threads have suggested things that later became a part of the site, like the color grass, the color lemon, gold and silver poses of jewelry-type items, or the coin item fashion contest.
Certainly that makes more work, but if it makes people happy and more willing to spend time and money on the site, I consider that worth the extra effort.

In a sense, yeah, to an extent, the community is spoiled. Sometimes everyone seems to forget how nice it is here in the end.

I don't think those are demands, so much as suggestions and like you said, requests. It's up to Ernya to implement what she sees fit. She's very open to suggestions, more so than other sites are, so I think people are more comfortable asking here.
I'd be more comfortable making suggestions here than Gaia, for example. In order to be heard on Gaia, you have to have a 200+ page thread and a 1,000 signature petition to even get one post from a staff member. It's not that they ignore their users, the userbase is just astronimical compared to how many staff is available there.
The ratio of staff to users on Ernya is much smaller, so our suggestions are easily seen here, and in my opinion, it encourages people to speak up.

I don't think anyone has "forgotten" how nice it is here, and I don't see how suggesting ways to make the site even better makes the community spoiled.

I think a sign of being spoiled is complaining.
Perhaps I'm complaining here, but I think that asking for an improvement to coin odds is audacious.
Also, I agree that the community can be nitpicky. A lot of my friends have been reported for one-word posts, for just saying "Hello." I understand that it's against the rules, but I don't really think it's enough to report them. They weren't bumping, they were initiating a conversation, and their post following that one wasn't a single word. Luckily, the mods (especially Milk Tea) don't get very fussy over that. But again, I don't think it was a good reason to report them..

I don't see a problem with people posting suggestions. I don't think it means they're spoiled, they just want to try and make the site a better place for everyone. Sometimes a lot of people agree with them and the idea becomes a nice addition to the site. It's true that the feedback forum will have a lot of suggestions sometimes, but they're usually not all by the same person XD. What I mean is that unless one person was making all of the suggestions and expecting them to be implemented then I don't see the spoiled factor. Also, in most suggestions the OP(and people who reply) will usually say that it definitely wouldn't have to be done immediately if at all. So, to sum it up, I don't think the community is spoiled in that sense, but I'm sure some individuals on the site might act spoiled as part of their personality.

I feel like a big part of what you're seeing, OP, is that they're all accumulated into one place. So, they look much larger in quantity.
I mean, the whole point of the Feedback forum is to suggest and give feedback, so I don't see a problem with it.
If Ernyans didn't do that, we wouldn't get anything new that we'd really appreciate.

I do not think that we are being "spoiled".
I mean, I think that we know the difference between being overly selfish and posting everything that we want and instead we are simply sharing ideas on what we (and possibly other Ernyans) would like. ouo
As for the Miss Skunky having just a tail pose, I am sure that many others would like to see that happen too and that you are not the only one.
The artists would pixeled the item might have thought that the poses chosen would be the most popular and would be best to go along with but if they see that a large amount of people would really just like the tail pose, they might just end up adding it (youknow?)
