View topic - Do you own a laptop?
the laptop i bought a year and a half ago was about $5xx at best buy and it was a VAIO. i dont have it with me atm but it has an i3 Intel core if i remember right?? idk anything about those lol i originally got it for my college classes and Sims 3 xD

Lenovo ideapad V470. 6GB memory/750GB hard drive, i7 processor. Bought it about a month ago for $800ish during a sale on the site. I have to run high performance programs for school that nearly killed my old laptop (LOL, Wal-mart computers) plus I'm a bit of PC gamer. I've had a CompSci major try bashing it while bragging about his Mac. Best he could say is that they're a pain to repair since they're built like a tank. :p

i think she said it was somewhere between 300-400$
it's not superfantastic but it gets the job done and is relatively fast
plus i've dropped it so many times it's ridiculous and nothing bad has happened to it so far

I have an acer aspire 5630, and will upgrade it when I have a job. It had a virus for a couple years. I got it working again, and it nice. Through I must have cursed at it a thousand times, it's my precious. :)
