I am right now... or at least trying to. The problem is is that I have many medical problems that either make me eat to much or I just cant loose weight
I've never gone on a diet, and I most likely never will because they don't really help to lose weight. The only thing that I know of that helps lose weight is to eat correctly (this is not a diet...its a change in diet), and also to exercise. I am not skinny either, just so no one thinks that I don't use them or am biased against them because of that reason. I have weighed anywhere from 110 lbs at my smallest to 200 lbs at my biggest, and the way I lost weight was through changing my diet (i.e., eating more fruits, veggies, smaller portions) and exercise.
I've never dieted. I love food. ughhh.
I think people diet because they have an image they feel they need to fit in today's society..or maybe health issues. I'd much rather jog a few miles/work out to lose weight though. ;n;
I've thought about doing diets because I eat too much. I've decided to chew longer and have proper portions to have a healthy diet. I'd do a healthy diet because I need to lose weight and be healthier.
I think people misunderstand what a diet really is. By definition a diet is what you eat. Much as a bird's diet consists mainly of small insects, nuts and seeds.
I feel that a diet is a way of life. It is something you have to try hard to sustain a healthy balance.
I've been on diets before and I've lost weight, but I really feel what I need is a lifestyle change, a way to make sure I eat a healthy balance. I love food, and by love, I have a great passion both making and eating it. It's just important to know the proper way to balance what you eat and take care of your body.
I don't follow those fad diet, but everyone has a diet.
It's what you eat.
I try to eat as healthy as I can, but sometimes it doesn't work out, especially in college where most of the choices are pretty unhealthy.
Most of the time I eat salads and sandwiches.
I do need to exercise more though, I think I'm going to start after Christmas after I've stuffed myself with food.
XD
All three :/ I also do them to stay ahead. I can be a very competitive person, and for a while I was comparing my weight to my mother's- we were dieting together and were neck in neck with weight loss for a while there XD
I go on a diet for all of those reasons. I feel fat, so I want to lose weight, and when I see it working I feel great! Sometimes I go on diets just because people think I can't stick to them either.
But it is important to note that in comparitive studeies they demonstrated that just about every diet works, but none work any better than any other. If the diet is long term sustainable then it'll work for you forever. Fad or crash diets tend to be a bad idea because then you'll just compensate for them when you're off them. A "diet cycle" is unhealthy.
I don't do diets, I do mostly
a little rice with chicken and some salad. It's not a diet
if you love it. ^.~ lol. <3
But some points I do eat ice-cream or chocolate. xP
Just gotta drink a lot of water plus eat a lot of fruits to burn it off.
I don't feel fat per se, only with certain areas of my body.
I mainly go on diets because I'm slightly self conscious of my weight number even though I'm at my recommended weight for my height.
