Ummm when this avi is accepted, that is if it does get accepted can I change back to my other one for the coin contest one so that one can be accepted?

Try to enter the avatar contests one at a time so that you can match the entry image and the current avatar: wait for one entry to be accepted, then enter another entry at that point.
