I suppose I could donate gold to some users in the quest thread, then hang onto my items incase someone drops in here.

We are! I honestly haven't enjoyed an avatar site as much as Ernya.
Gaia, I haven't been on in forever because of the bullshit members and everything.
I can handle a greedy site if the members are likable, but that isn't the case.
Oh! Also, Lyt Keeper and e u r e k a are also awesome users, if you need more people.

Ooh, which site? I've tried tons, but usually end up not liking the site layout or the avatar style.

Roliana. I'm not too sure why, though... The users can be strict, the colors for items aren't always consistent, and it's slow as heck. :U I love it, though.

What was the last straw?

Oh, yeah I didn't like how strict Roli was and the avatars weren't my favorite.
Every area I went to, I saw people breaking the rules and no one seemed to care.
The GCD was known to be rule followers and kept pretty strict to them for years before.
I came back a few months and everyone was laughing at a troll because he was a popular user.
Everyone was breaking rules themselves and even trolling a little. The mods did nothing.
I ignored it and stayed to Heaven, but wherever I lurked, it was either trolls or complaining.

There is a new avatar site, the members and mods are nice and the theme is cool.
However, the avatars are not that likable at all, so I doubt I'll stay for very long.

Yup! I agree, plus the arm angle is kind of blah.
The shading on the items isn't really all that great, either.
Which is odd, since most of the shop keepers have great shading.
